The question I would ask is why did many "accept" the KJV when it was written?

I believe it was godly men that accepted the new KJV as being the Word of God. I would like to think I would be among those godly men.

Think ALL here posting on board accept the KJV as being a very good translation in english to us still, its just that we hold that others, such as NASB/NIV, are just as valid the word of God to us today!

Already did......

I'd just be thankful that she has found a young man who goes to church and actually reads the Bible.

In this age, she could be dating a "wonderful" young man who prefers to read the Koran, writings of the far eastern mystics, or nothing religious at all. Preferring, instead, porn, for example.

It's not spelled Antiartic.
That is a chilling development:tonofbricks:

Isn't it about time to get back to actually answering my original question in the OP??

Well, keep one thing in mind - a young girl in love is not liable to listen anyways.

I think I would recommend we (my daughter, her fiancés and me) sit down with the pastor and ask some pointed questions.
