Though not consistently, I’ve prayed to God with similar requests for the past several years now, and now more consistently, I've prayed for the past couple weeks, presenting God with the same requests, and, through the same time, I've made to the Lord new requests. But I do not know whether God is answering my prayers.

Therefore I ask: How do I know whether God is answering my prayer? And what is the kind of prayer that God will answer?

And what is the kind of prayer that God will answer?

1 John 5:13-15 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
