I can't wait to start cooking on the grill again! But we ran out of propane after Hurricane Sandy and our grill's burner has seen better days. We MAY consider getting a new grill but we just bought a new one for the boat so I'm not sure. Maybe we'll just fix the burner again and get a new one at the end of the year.

But for tonight? I'm not sure. Maybe ravioli? Something easy, that much I know. We had a big lunch going out with our guest preacher today and I'm just really not hungry.

Made up some cornbread in a cast iron frypan. Covered it with venison chili for supper. Smothered it in genuine maple syrup for dessert. Still a piece or two in the pan so I know what I'm having for a late night snack.

I was just informed I'm on my own tonight for dinner. There's no telling what concoction I will create. Whatever it may be, only I and Andrew Zimmerman would eat it.

I'm on my own tonight too, so I'm making Cashew Chicken for myself (nobody else in the family likes it, so I don't have to share.:tongue3:)

Hey FoG! How are you doing? How has your wife's headaches been? Mine are SO much better thanks to Bitsy telling me about magnesium and B2! I also started running which seems to help a lot as well.

Today is day 2 of what will be our longest heat wave this summer (should last to Friday). We got a new grill which is fantastic but I'm not sure I'm going to use it tonight. The plan was shrimp and pineapple kabobs with leftover couscous and a green salad but hubby went to his mom's today so he might be shot when he gets home (it's an all day affair since she lives 1.5 hours away). I'm going to play it by ear. I have the ingredients - just need to assemble the kabobs.

If we don't do the kabobs, we'll do pizza or Chinese.

Boudin and steamed broccoli, squash and zucchini. There will be no dessert as my sugar level was 474 last night. Diabetes is such a downer when all your teeth are sweet.

Hi Ann!, Wife and family are doing fine. Brenda has been taking a Magnesium supplement, but didn't know about the other supplement, will have to give it a try. How's your Husband and family doing? Fine I hope.

Tonight is Roast Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Corn, Peas, Dressing. With Apple Pie and Pumpkin Pie for dessert.

We're doing well - just hot with this heat wave!

Tonight we will do the shrimp kabobs that we were going to have last night. I was right in reading hubby - he had no desire to grill (going to his mom's is quite draining). We just had leftovers instead. :)

FoG - How is your wife and family doing?

I'm back from camp and back on dinner duty again. I LOVED having someone else cook for me even if it was camp food. However, I'm craving steak so tonight will be steak and corn on the cob. That's all. That's all we need. :D
