When are names written in the Lamb's book of Life?

Here is a question, how do the names which are blotted out in the book?

And I will not blot out his name out of the book of life; by which is meant the choice of persons to everlasting life and salvation; and this being signified by a book, and by writing names in it, shows the exact knowledge God has of his elect, the value he has for them, his remembrance of them, his love to them, and care for them; and that this election is of particular persons by name, and is sure and certain; for those whose names are written in it shall never be blotted out, they will always remain in the number of God's elect, and can never become reprobates, or shall ever perish; because of the unchangeableness of the nature and love of God, the firmness of his purposes, the omnipotence of his arm, the death and intercession of Christ for them, their union to him, and being in him, the impossibility of their seduction by false teachers, and the security of their persons, grace, and glory in Christ, and in whose keeping this book of life is; which respects not this temporal life, that belongs to the book of providence, but a spiritual and eternal life, from whence it has its name.

On and on, imputed fiction imputed diversion, imputed fog to hide truth.

Note the scripture precluding individual election before creation is once again ignored.

No name is ever blotted out of the Lamb's book of life, Revelation 3:5

Before the foundation of the world.

All of God's elect were chosen and given to Christ (in Him) before the foundation of the world. It's right there in God's Word.

Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world.

(emphasis mine)

You continue to fail to see the logical error of your position. If you were in Christ before the foundation of the world then you would not need to have any faith as you would already be saved.

"Everyone in the world is either “in Adam” or “in Christ.” Those who are “in Adam” are in their sins and therefore condemned before God. There is nothing they can do in themselves to please God or gain His favor. They have no claim on God, and if they were to receive what they deserve, they would perish eternally.
When a person is converted, God no longer looks upon him as a condemned child of Adam. Rather He sees him as being in Christ, and He accepts him on that basis. It is important to see this. The believing sinner is not accepted because of what he is in himself, but because he is in Christ. When he is in Christ, he stands before God clothed in all the acceptability of Christ Himself." Not so. What God purposed before time began He works out in the lives of His elect over time during their lives on this earth. Salvation is 100% of God and 0% of man, a fact that the natural man rails against as he demands that he be the captain of his own fate; his demand will not be met.

The natural man thinks that God is as he is, but he is not as the natural man is.

Romans 4:17b God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

To me, “when” is insignificant in consideration of “is”. That my name is there is of the utmost importance; when, much less. Perhaps God will tell me when I soon arrive in the Celestial City.

Not at issue.

Revelation 3:5, He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Here is a question, how do the names which are blotted out in the book?
If a person dies without receiving Christ, I think then his name is blotted out.

I also believe God knows who will and who will not believe.

Ken you have to get your story straight. You claim the elect were in Christ from the foundation of the world then you say they are not. Make up your mind Ken.

You just make yourself look foolish when you take verses out of context in the attempt to support your errant views. That is what the cults do when they want to give support to their views.

No verse or passage indicates any name at any time will be blotted out of the Lamb's book of life. You may be conflating a poor translation of another book, the "book of the living" which lists all the people alive, and when they physically die, their names are blotted out.

Many translations render Psalm 69:28 as book of the living, such as ESV, RSV, NRSV, LEB, NET, and NKJV.

Here is the NET footnote:

The phrase the scroll of the living occurs only here in the OT. It pictures a scroll or census list containing the names of the citizens of a community. When an individual died, that person’s name was removed from the list. So this curse is a very vivid way of asking that the enemies die.

Question, when are the names of babies and toddlers written in the Lamb's book?
Before the foundation of the world, which is the same as when those who would believe on Him were chosen in Christ ( Ephesians 1:3-14 ).
Implication, babies and toddlers do not enter heaven because they have not even had a chance to believe.

Those unwilling to accept this implication, seek to add to scripture a solution of their own creation.
We as God's people do not trust implication, Van.
We trust what is written, and what God has declared in the Scriptures.

Just for fun, here is a question for those claiming the right to rewrite scripture: Does scripture say babies and toddlers, who have done nothing right or wrong are sent to Hades? And if they were not sent to Hades, does Revelation 20 say they are tossed into the Lake of Fire?
Rewriting Scripture is a very serious thing to be found guilty of, and I know of few that have tried it and lived this life for long.

However, I've noticed ( since I came onto this forum some 7-8 years ago ) that you not only appear to be very casual about how you declare it, you also present many threads that do indeed border on re-writing it.

For example,
Anyone who does a search on threads you've posted will run across some in which you've taken what I see to be some liberties with His words, and even come near to changing what is written in many of your "interpretive translations".

Be careful, Van.
You're not dealing with man's words, you're dealing with God's words.
He will not suffer them to be trifled with.

To answer the question:

Revelation 20 says that everyone whose names are not found written in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire.

@Van

Please allow me to direct your attention to the words of God:

" And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
( Revelation 20:12-15 ).

Here's the problem with what I see you teaching, Van:

If only those that have had their faith credited to them as righteousness in this life are written in the Book, then that means that anyone whose faith in this life is not credited ( including babies and toddlers ) are not ( and were not ) written...

Which means that they get cast into the Lake of Fire, doesn't it?

Why and when?

Ephesians 1:3-14 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: that in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

You just make yourself look foolish

I am quite willing to appear foolish to the natural man.

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Not a thing about when being written in the book.

Does not answer, how it is those names were written into the book.
