You continue to trust men when they clearly do not actually trust scripture or they would not be twisting the word of God as they do.

1) I trust God.
2) The men I listed trust God.
3) The men I listed faithfully preach the Bible and the gospel of Christ and His finished work on behalf of God's elect.

If Christ was the propitiation for the ALL of the sins of EVERY person who has ever and will ever live, then EVERY person who has ever and will ever live, will be saved.

As Augustus Toplady wrote in that great hymn:

Now, Silverhair, if you want to the make the case that EVERY person who ever and will ever live will be saved, then have at it. I'm ready to see you make that case.

I trust what the bible says not what some fallen man says which is what you seem to do as you continue to quote them.

The issue for any person is not whether the Bible agrees with them, it is whether they agree with the Bible.

And I believe the Bible and its proclamation of the gospel of Christ and His finished work on behalf of God's elect, chosen by God before the world began and given to His Son to be their Surety and to bring them into His presence.

If that were the truth then you would not be in disagreement with scripture but since you continue to deny the word of God it is clear that you have followed man rather than God.

You keep saying that but your posts prove you wrong. As you said you trust those men but it is clear that they have misunderstood scripture or they would not hold to the errors they do.

Then you claiming that God can demand payment a second for the sin debt that Christ already paid in full.

I agree with the Holy Scriptures - that God chose His elect before the foundation of the world and gave them to His Son to be their Surety and to bring them into His presence.

You have the option of accepting or rejecting the gift but it is still a gift either way. God has made the offer, the gift of salvation, to the whole world but only those that freely receive the gift through faith will be saved.

Curious as to why you think your trusting in God makes you smarter than the atheist. He may think just the opposite, that you are a fool. Do I think trusting in God is the wise thing to do, of course. But does that make one smarter than those that reject Him, no.

Each person will take in the various pieces of information and evaluate them. Some will trust in God some will reject God. A person has to humble themselves and admit that they have sinned before God the creator of this world. Some will reject the gift because of their pride.

While the gift is offered it is not forced on anyone. So while God reaches out to us we must be willing to take His hand.

Curious as to why you think your trusting in God makes you smarter than the atheist. He may think just the opposite, that you are a fool.

The point is that it allows me to take the credit away from God. I was smarter than the atheist was, therefore I am more deserving of receiving the gift.

What did Christ mean when He said "It is finished?" That His mission of providing the means of salvation for all Humanity was finished. You bet!

Every saved individual once had not received mercy, therefore they were not chosen before their creation, because then they would have always received mercy from conception.


When God chooses an individual to be "His people" they become part of His people, and therefore to be "not a people" requires that sometime during their lifetime, they had not been individually chosen.


Thus 1 Peter 2:9-10 absolutely precludes anyone being chosen individually before creation. It is a lock no matter how much non-germane verbiage is posted.


When are our names written in the Lamb's book of life? When God chooses to credit our faith as righteousness and transfer us spiritually into Christ's spiritual body.

Is Salvation "conditioned" on the person's performance such that salvation is in part earned, merited, deserved, etc? Nope, so yet another deflection on display. Salvation depends on God alone. How many times must I say this in order for the taint so crowd to stop with their false charges? Seven times, or Seven times Seven?
