As the Bible States that All and ONLY the saints have Him in them, when and how did He come to dwell in you? (The ones called)
How did you receive the HS and how sure are you that it is the HS that you received during that very moment?I don't know the exact date but it was January 1973. I was just 7, turning 8 that year.

In the Orthodox Christian Church, we receive “the seal of the gift of the Holy Spirit”, during our Chrismation…If baptism is our personal participation in Easter, the death and resurrection of Christ, then Chrismation is our personal participation in Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit upon us.How did you receive the HS and how sure are you that it is the HS that you received during that very moment?
Well, I was saved and thus I received the Holy Spirit. :wavey:
I do not have the Holy Spirit as a separate entity. I have received the preaching of the gospel, the word of God and have believed this gospel and been baptised by immersion into the death and resurrection of Christ Acts 8:5,12. This I believe is the "Spirit" of Christ in my mind and heart. As the Bible States that All and ONLY the saints have Him in them, when and how did He come to dwell in you?
Is that a sort of claim based on what you understand from what you read in the bible?Well, I was saved and thus I received the Holy Spirit. :wavey:
May we know what is Chrismation and who peform/s this in your church? In the Orthodox Christian Church, we receive “the seal of the gift of the Holy Spirit”, during our Chrismation…If baptism is our personal participation in Easter, the death and resurrection of Christ, then Chrismation is our personal participation in Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit upon us.
Is it just that simple, how do you know if you are really saved in the first place?Simply put, if you're saved, then you have the Holy Spirit. If you don't have the Holy Spirit, then you're not saved.
The Sacrament of Chrismation, sometimes also referred to as, confirmation…is the holy mystery by which a baptized person is granted the gift of the Holy Spirit through the anointing with oil…The oil used is called, holy chrism or myrrh, which is prepared by the bishops of the Church on Holy Thursday, which occurs during Holy Week. Chrismation is a onetime act, same as Baptism and the Sacrament of Chrismation is administered by a priest immediately after Baptism…the person, regardless of age is anointed with the oil on the forehead, chest, eyes, ears, lips, hands and feet.May we know what is Chrismation and who peform/s this in your church?

the holy spirit does not come thru ANY observed rite/sacrament, but when one places faith in Jesus and at that time becomes saved!
