When is a Body large enough to split?

I may not be asking the right questions. Somewhere I read when a church or body becomes too large, or large enough, it is time to branch out to build other smaller Body’s of Church.

Somewhere I read something like that. The reason why I ask this is because I’m wondering when a church becomes too large. I understand when a church becomes too large, but I’m wondering what the Word says. Does it warn about unaccountability in larger fellowships?

I don't put an exact number on a church's size. However, If a congregation grows to a point where members can't easily find places of ministry, then serious consideration should be given to daughtering off another congregation.

Agreed and this i understood. Looking for the verbiage in the word about it.

It shouldnt be just a matter of numbers - but different considerations - for example - lets say 10 families want to start a new church - but each family lives all thruout the greater Atlanta (Ga) area - maybe not so good A better plan would be 10 families who live within a - say a 5 mile radious, also, you want 7 don't song directors going to one mission church, and ect.
As far as # I would say - once you hit around 150 or so - but at first start with a weeknight Bible study- even if it is on Wed pm

But where is the verbiage in the word? I’m a member of a small church. I believe Christ calls on us to be enveloped in each other’s lives. Hold each other accountable, and love each other as God loves us.

My experience whenever I have attended larger churches, it becomes static, less clear. Less accountability.

This is just my personality though, everyone is different.

So again, what does the Word say about when It’s time for a church to send deciples out. To reduce the size of the static. I’ve read it before and it was very clear. Though I lost it... I don’t know how else to put it..
