In regards to speaking in tongues, I will never forget when someone I know named Walter, who previously attended an Assemblies of God church and attended a weekly Bible study at his Pastor's house, said sometimes his Pastor would speak in tongues during their Bible study. Now he worked with a woman who was Baptist and she was terrified of being around people who allegedly speak in tongues, yet Walter convinced her to come to the Bible study to see for herself that she has nothing to fear. When his lady friend showed up at the Bible study, as soon as she walked in the door, the Pastor began speaking in tongues very loudly with his hands high in the air, then he fell backwards to the floor! Walter said that even he was freaked out by the incident which was unusual, even for him and when he turned around, his lady friend was running for the hills!

Here is a lady speaking in tongues in our church. The message was given out.... Nobody interpreted... And she kept silence the rest of the service. It was considered that someone was dis-obedient for not interpreting as that was a message from the Lord....

How do KNOW it was a message from the LORD if there was no interpreter?

We had the same experience when we went with a friend to one of these services, and later they told us they really didn't believe in all that, being touched and falling down, etc.. but went along just to be in the church group. Never a good thing at any level..
