I too am glad they have done something... but it used to be the responsibility of the local association to be the guardian of doctrinal issues. But local ass'ns have increasingly become meaningless in SB life.

I am glad for the local DOM who mentored me and gave me a lot of encouragement. Because of his attitude it was well known that the particular local association was a great place to be. It is still that way there. I have seen other associations that seem to just not care enough to confront.
