Where were you for the Moon Landing?

That's too bad. I was 15 months, and I distinctly remember using my slide rule to calculate their lunar terminal velocity.

Thats funny-------but it ain't nothin' compared to how blackbird "eyeballed" their trajectory angle upon their reentry into the Earth's atmosphere----blackbird remembers-----the doctor slapped him on the "bee-hind" and his momma kissed him on the forehead and then NASA came in and started extracting information from blackbird!!!!!:laugh:

I was ten years old watching it at home with my family. We were glued to Walter Cronkite coverage. I remember going out in the yard that night so sure I could make out "something" on the moon!!

I Had just turned 14 and was glued to the black and white TV in the living room. Did not matter whether we had color or not since the moon pics were B&W.

I also remember wishing they would hurry up and get there. I so wanted them to land on my birthday which was the 19th.

It was only later that I learned that they would have landed on the 19th a year earlier but it took longer so they could train some foreign engineers so other countries could feel good about themselves.
