Not either an Arn or a Cal?
I have made that clear that I am not. It appears that your premise is based in the false assumption that if you are not a cal you are arminian. I am neither.
Even the part about total depravity? How about "once saved, always saved"?no I read the statement of faith of Traditionalism and it fits nicely under Arminianism

Not really. It fits neither C or A. The major problem with it is the fact it is a compromise position that is impossible to defend. It sounds good, but gets cut down quickly in debate. You either have to be C or A. If you try to land in the middle, you get squished.no I read the statement of faith of Traditionalism and it fits nicely under Arminianism

It is my understanding that the original Arminianism of the Remonstrants affirmed depravity and were undecided about the possibility of falling from grace. There are later variations of Arminianism that refine these points (e.g. Wesleyan Arminianism that fully embraces falling from grace, or the type found among the Campbellites that jettisons depravity). As for me, I confine my use of Arminian in relation to those who embrace the possibility of falling from grace (but that's just me).Even the part about total depravity? Arminianism believes in total depravity. It believes that man is so weak, infirm, bruised, and crushed by the fall that God must awaken mans desire to find him.Oh, it's in a different section:
Arminian fails since we disaffirm that our depravity requires a belief in total inability, and since we affirm the Perseverance of the Saints in a mandatory rather than negotiable manner, usually expressing it as “once saved, always saved.”

Classical Arminianism leans toward Eternal security, but stops short of fully embracing it due to scripture not being clear enough on the matter. You can be a Classical Arminian and hold to O.S.A.S.Arminianism believes in total depravity. What part of Classical Arminianism do you disagree with?I have made that clear that I am not. It appears that your premise is based in the false assumption that if you are not a cal you are arminian. I am neither.
How are you defining "Classical" Arminianism? The 1610 Remonstrance? I find article 3 interesting. It states that that one cannot come to have saving faith unless he is "born again" first. So the 1610 supports regeneration before faith.Classical Arminianism leans toward Eternal security, but stops short of fully embracing it due to scripture not being clear enough on the matter. Unfortunately the Wesleyan Arminism won out and most today believe you can lose your salvation.Classical Arminianism leans toward Eternal security, but stops short of fully embracing it due to scripture not being clear enough on the matter. You can be a Classical Arminian and hold to O.S.A.S.
