I guess "language" wasn't the right word to use--any Bible I use is in English. I couldn't quite think of how to put it, but I'll try again--I've memorized a lot of scripture already from the KJV, and I think it would be confusing to re-memorize from the wording and syntax of a newer version. For example, I know John 3:16 in the wording of the KJV--if I decided to memorize John 3:15 from the NIV, the two wouldn't flow together.

I agree, this is a great program. I have it and almost every free English Bible and study tool you can get (as well as Pocket e-sword with an NASB I bought with it).

Your 'only one real Bible' bias is showing.

I voted for several myself. When the voting places are
squares, one can vote multiple times; then the voting places
are circles, one can only vote once.

God is not bound to preserving His Holy Wriltten Word
in one-and-only-one book.

My favorite Book is a four barrelled Bible:
TODAY'S PARALLEL BIBLE from Zondervan

NIV -- New International Version,

I second this. I have this Bible, and it's great to take to group Bible studies, as it is easier to follow along with others' translations. I got it on ebay new for 39.99

Read the entire thread. Interesting that no one mentioned the very ancient Alexandrian Septuagint, translated about 300 years before Christ. (This is NOT the same as the other "Septuagints" all of which were translated well after Christ...). It shows what the Hebrews themselves considered the meaning in the ancient Scriptures. It also matches the quotes of the Scriptures used by New Testament writers. So we often reference the Alex. LXX to check meanings. Other than that, we have a number of Bibles we use here: KJV, NKJV, NIV, NAS, etc. We both tend to use the one favored by whomever we are talking to at the time...the message is the same no matter what.

I just today bought me a TNIV in the form of
a Zondervan Today's New International Version
Study Bible (Zondervan, 2006). You know, the one with lots
of liberal comentary. Half-price, for $10.

The KJV is a great translation--of that there can be no doubt. It kind of seems, though, like you're itching to get into a KJV-ONLY discussion; but before you do, I urge you to read back through the archives of KJV-Only material already existing on the BB. It will save you the trouble of having to cover the same ground that has already been covered many times...
