Winman, for the heck of it, can you directly answer the following questions in accordance to your belief system.
The topic is the Fall of mankind Genesis 3.
1. Did God know it was going to happen before creation, did He know Adam was going to sin?
2. Did God want it to happen? Why? Why not?
3. Could God have stopped Adam from sinning and the fall? why didn't He if He didn't want it to happen?
4. Did God directly cause Adam to sin?
5. Did God desire the fall to happen or did He enjoy it?
6. Did God choose to let the fall happen even though He didn't desire it?
7. Why did the fall happen?
1- Yes
2- No. If you had children would you want them to sin?
3- No. God wanted people that choose to love him. True love requires that a person also have the choice to hate you. Robots cannot love.
4- No, God never tempts any man to sin.
5- No, but he knew it would happen and had prepared a Savior beforehand.
6- He had to allow it, love requires choice. No choice, no love.
7- The free will that permits true love also exposes one to the risk of being rejected and hated. Love and hate prove free will exists. The fall happened because Eve trusted Satan who deceived her. Adam sinned knowingly, I believe to be with Eve. In this he was a type of Christ willing to die for another because of his love for them, but this is speculation on my part.
