For years we've always put dressing in our Turkey at Thanksgiving.

What do you call it Dressing or Stuffing?

Incidentally, last year (when I was on crutches after a hip reivision) a friend who is an inspector for the fire department arranged for me to get one of the Thanksgiving food giveaways, which includes a turkey, the fire department does each year. He called and I told him I'd rather that go to some more needy family, but he brought it anyway. TMALSS, since my only working oven is a toaster oven, that 8 or 9 pound turkey is still in the freezer. Is there any possibility it could still be etable if I found some way to cook it? I still have the box of stuffing mix, also, which is more likely to have preserved a year.

The turkey should be fine. I've had turkeys after a year and they were delicious. When you thaw it and unwrap it, you should be able to see if there is any freezer burn or anything. If there's not, you're good to go. :)
