The Holy Spirit inside and the KJV are the discernment tools for me, and second would be my long established veteran Pastor.

I don't Trust any Modern media nor Social media. Everyone has a biased agenda these days.

I do not rely on any network anymore. I don't believe that any of this is any more real than the wrestling on TV that my little brother used to watch. I am echoing the same words right now: "It is not real."

I will click on something for a few minutes to see what others are watching and believing, because how others REACT to what they are seeing IS real. I want to know what is instigating their behavior.

What I see for news is as ridiculous and embarrassing as two females in wet t-shirts in a wrestling ring that are there to entertain the audience during a break by slapping each other and pulling each other's hair. I can't watch this for more than a few minutes a day without getting sick. I turn it off and pick up my Bible.

I would love to be informed. I miss believing that I could be informed by watching TV and reading newspapers. That felt in control. Now I have to tolerate this feeling that feels like floating in the dark with waves tossing me and crashing over my head. It is teaching me to trust: not in myself, not the media, not in our leaders, or anything else other than God. He's got this, even if we are in the dark and uninformed. He's got this.

I tried to watch Newsmax last night but could only stomach about 15 minutes of it. Granted, that's not long to give a true reflection.

It was just a bunch of bashing of Democrats and exalting Trump. I see where some people call it TrumpTV. That's not "news" to me.

I just wish there was a channel or website where people just presented what's happening without bias and bashing. Let me decide, once the events are presented, what the meaning of it is.

I hear you there, SO, but that is not the nature of either free speech or freedom of the press. Sides are being presented and we have to decide what, if anything we’re hearing or seeing is true, and to what degree. This is just as true of historical accounts as well.

and where did I say anything about wet t-shirts?
S, it was a joke. Did you not read the post right before your reply? See post #11.

The correct response would be, It’s not their attire but their “slapping each other and pulling each other's hair” that provides much needed information. Or some similar “smart” remark. :Wink
