OK, if you say so. Don't see what it has to do with his golfing habits.
He quit because the media didn't like it. If it was wrong, he shouldn't be doing it anyway. If it were not wrong, he shouldn't care what the swamp media says.
His true colors came outvin the last election. His true color is skunk.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush said on Tuesday he quit playing golf in 2003 out of respect for the families of Americans killed in the war in Iraq.

“I don’t want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the Commander-in-Chief playing golf,” Bush said in an interview with Yahoo and Politico.com.

“I feel I owe it to the families to be as — to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal,” he said.

Now do estimates on how much forgiving all student debt would cost. And then do the cost of supplying free health care to illegal immigrants. Then do the cost of having open borders.

No one is supporting open borders. Democrats want existing laws to be enforced in a humane way (no imprisonment of children in unacceptable conditions for longer than the law allows which is 72 hours). Many minors have been illegally held for weeks. The cost of these ideas does need to be determined as well as what is a reasonable military budget. The Pentagon was recently audited by an outside firm. The result?

The Pentagon Doesn’t Know Where Its Money Goes
Opinion | The Pentagon Doesn’t Know Where Its Money Goes

After decades of ducking the legal requirement that it undergo a thorough financial audit, the Pentagon finally opened up its books to 1,200 outside accountants and analysts. The report was recently completed, and here’s the good news: The Army Corps of Engineers (most of it, anyway) and the Military Retirement Fund passed the audit.

The bad news: The Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines and most other divisions failed, which means they were unable to show that they were properly keeping track of their finances and assets.

“We failed the audit,” Deputy Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan told reporters with a curiously nonchalant air. “We never expected to pass it.”

Defense Secretary Rumsfeld said in a speech at the Pentagon on the day before 9/11:

“We cannot track $2.3 trillion in transactions,” then-Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld said in 2001. The next day, al Qaeda attacked the U.S., and priorities changed.

Why? Because you are all for throwing tons of money on every liberal idea that has no basis in the Federal Constitution. Once again, we spend on our military because this is a dangerous world plus are paying for the defense of half the world's countries.

Our healthcare system is expensive because of government mandates and prescription prices are high because the pharmaceutical companies do so much research and development on new drugs - all that costs money. There is nothing "free" in this world, contrary to Democrat politicians claims in having "free this" and "free that".

The last thing we want to do is follow your idea of giving the government control over the whole system. Quality will go down, doctors will leave the profession, and wait times for procedures that now happen quickly will take years because of an overburdened system. No thank you.
Why do we need to spend as much on our military and the next 9 top spending countries in the world (Russia+China+the UK+Germany+Iran+India, etc?

Sure, sure. And no one says they are for socialized medicine. Instead, they want "Medicare for All".
We don't currently have open borders and no Democrat has supported tearing down the existing border wall or doing away with the current surveillance. If you think they have please support that view.

Gosh, what are sanctuary cities? Anyone know?
And a certain party's mayors advising when ICE is coming, or judges guiding ICE fugitives out of the back door of courtrooms, or ordering the police NOT TO CO-OPERATE with ICE?!
If that ain't saying "We want open borders" I don't know what is!!
