I'm certainly not that. I know a lot about the use of art in Christianity and I'm wellinformed when it comes to the history of Christianity*, but I'm certainly no Bible scholar.
* On top of that I seem to be wellinformed in all the wrong parts of churchhistory.
If the BB had been about debating the struggle between the Spanish Inquisition and the secular authorities of Spain over who had the right to put witches on trial, or the impact Franciscan monks had on the spread of the Bloodlibel I would most likely be the most highly trained scholar around here.
We are talking instead about such fascinating subjects as the differences between the SBC and IFB churches in South Carolina during the second half of the 1980's, the horror that is Landmarkism, Erasmus being a closet baptist and the 'earthshaking' differences between the AV1611(make that 1769 KJV) and the NASB.
