When Democrats post here on the Baptist Board (and elsewhere) about socialistic utopias that the USA should copy and emulate, they are usually Nordic blue-eyed blonde paradises such as Finland, Sweden, and Norway. Although some like Che or Fidel/Raul, most donut-licking, America-hating Americans long to be in the Scandinavian countries.

Norway, of course, sent thousands here to avoid starvation in the 19th century. So did the Swedes--so many that there are now more Swedes in the US and Canada than there are in Sweden. And then there are the Finns, the neighbors to the Russians who are constantly in danger of invasion from Russia, who always seeks to grab Finnish territory. Or the gravitate towards tiny Denmark.

“We’d like to make America more like Norway or Finland” is, among other things, a way of saying, “We’d like to make America more like a virtually all-white society.” It’s not like they don’t have public health care in Singapore or income redistribution in Ghana.

Think about that the next time a progressive tells you that Chicago ought to do things the way Helsinki does

Yes, it probably is an attempt to throw cold-water on the leftist notion that socialism actually works when you have all white people in a little country--especially if the little country has already sent thousands to the USA due to starvation. At any rate, the notion is that the type of socialism that we want is that modelled by white people.

In Europe as well as in America, white people are old news. They are on their way out. Look at the recent numbers in California, where Latinos finally gained the upper hand in numbers. Because of birth control, and arrogance, whites are definitely going to be the minority and on the outside looking in, if the Lord don't return soon!

What was done in California was illegal. At any rate, they say that the big drug kingpin that escaped prison in Mexico is now in San Francisco.
