Okay, I'm ready to make my fearless prediction, now. White Sox beat the Astros in four. [IMG]

Crede IMO should have been MVP over Dye. He had just as many RBI's and played killer defense at 3rd base.

I agree with this, I was surprised that Crede was not the MVP. I think he was clearly the best player in the series.

Crede would have been my choice as well. Although it is hard to argue that Dye did not deserve it. They probably should have named co mvps.

I know this is after the fact, but I did predict the Sox to win. In fact, I predicted them to win it all right before the play-offs began. I thought the W.S. would go 6 games, though. And it very easily could have, with each game being close.

The AL is clearly the superior league to the NL over the last 2 years. The NL hasn't won a W.S. game since 2003.

This year's White Sox team reminds me of the '84 Tigers - got off to a great start, had a slight slump in the summer, and then finished off in dominating fashion. Both teams were very balanced with no apparent weaknesses. The Tigers were a little bit better hitting team, while the Sox had a little better pitching.

Ozzie Guillen is a better manager than people think. It's refreshing to have someone "go against the flow" of typical managerial sytle in the Major Leagues.

Oh, and a more important proof of AL dominance over the last two years - a record of 263-241 in interleague play.

I would not say the white sox dominated Astro's they did sweep them, but none of the games were won by over 2 runs. While 263-241 is a winning record it is not dominating.
