Don't ask us ask the Southern Poverty Law Center. They'd be happy to tell you. The only problem is if your group opposes the policies and actions of the current administration you are ipso facto a racist.

Squire, I have searched a little through the archives at the SPLC, and though they have nothing good to say about the Tea Party, they are not labeled a "Hate Group", and can find no investigation into any funding activities at all. I cannot even find the "Tea Party" on their list of monitored "Patriot Groups".

I have to say, the SPLC website reads more like the Drudge Report.
But I did notice the New Black Panthers are on their watch list.
