Judgmentalism is common here by most parties. Some verses to meditate on in how you respond to others are 1 Cor 13 and Prov 15:28. Would the Holy Spirit be impressed or grieved with this board? Probably the latter. What I suggest is to take a break and listen to God. Took a nature walk yesterday and saw Gods creation. Prairie Dogs and cotton tail rabbits running around. Take such a walk and pray and bring your bible.

More of us need to let the Holy Spirit change us and let him work in our lives. A good book to read on this topic in addition to your study of scripture ( the book is loaded with scripture) is (The wonderful spirit filled) by Charles Stanley. A good read for living a spirit filled life.

I think it is important for us to judge within the Church (1 Cor. 5, for example) but you are right that it is done in love. (I believe the church is called to discern, but correction is done in love). The problem is that some reject reproof.

Can anyone else see the irony here?

Generally speaking I don't think the problem with the board that he has in mind is judgmental-ness, rather what I call a superiority complex. Everybody thinks they alone are right. Debates aren't usually intelligent but rather a virtual wizzing contest. It reeks of hate to be honest.

But yeah, this guy... this guy is judgmental. Whether or not that's justified in scripture could be debatable, but still, like they say, the guilty dog barks the loudest. Chasing prairie dogs and rabbits ain't going to help this dog either.

Prairie Dogs and cotton tail rabbits running around.

Friend, maybe you need to take some time off from our happy little virtual community.

A breather and time to reflect always does a body (and mind) good.

I saw three coyotes while out walking in a forest preserve earlier today. Do they count?

I rescued two earthworms from being crushed by my garage door today.

Admire me!
