Trump would be a good pick for HUD. Nobody in the the country understands urban development better than Mr. Trump. As a cabinet member, he could keep an eye on Sleepy Joe, making sure he stays awake.

Years ago I had a prof in Texas who said that Americans are the most ungrateful people on earth. Trump is an expert in real estate development in big cities. His appointment of Dr. Carson to HUD was brilliant.

Indianapolis downtown is expensive to develop for several reasons. The land was originally swampy and the sewer system could be larger. Labor costs are high. There is too much red tape. The retail market is very limited. Restaurants do not have any business after 5 PM. There is too much vacant office space. Parking has become expensive. Vandalism and other crime is widespread. The sidewalks and alleys are full of mental patients. Professional basketball and football have lost their fan base but their arenas are downtown. The middle class is leaving Indianapolis in large numbers.

Trump laments the damage the flu has done to New York City but it is the policies of the left that have destroyed the economy. The left has no idea how to make money.
