I am not talking about marginal notes (which, by the way, are called "glosses"). I am talking about scribal corrections, which are very common in both Hebrew and Greek manuscripts of the bible.

In case your wondering where that is...it`s
found in 2nd Kings 10:9 ... Might not be in your
so-called bible...or it might say " who pinched
all these "

I'm serious, who has the authority to call my parallel Bible, which has the 1873 KJV, NIV, NLT, and the NASB in it, heretical.

BTW my 1873 KJB differs from the 1769 KJB in the following places:

Matthew 23:24 It changes "strain at" to Strain out"

Heb. 10:23 "faith" to "hope"

John 10:25 "ye believed not" to "ye believe not"

Acts 25:23 "was entered" to "were entered"
Ps. 6:4 "thy mercies' sake" to "thy mercy's sake"

Ruth 3:15 it changes "she" to "he"

Let me remind you both are KJVs. Both are widely published today. Both existed before Westcott & Hort released their work in 1881. Both existed be for Zondervan.

Also If one can only be the true word of God, which one is? "Things that are different can't be the Same"

Which KJV should a new believer buy?

Bro. Tim L. Bynum: " ... my Pastor has God given
Spiritual Discernment ... "

Me to. Only i don't have a clear message that
he does. Could be i don't need the information.
The Holy Spirit gives specific data of Spiritual
Discernment for His own purposes, not for ours.

Bro. Tim L. Bynum: " ... I can`t think of ONE TIME that Jesus spoke
well of the scholars like you ... "

And it is obvious you don't have Spiritual Discernment,
for you sure blew that "fact". I am not a scholar.
I make up for scholarly knowledge by years of effort,
not by enhansed scholarship. But i did learn how to
write a sentence or two and string them together in
a meaningful paragraph.

You still haven't told me which one of my three
KJVs is the KJB of which you speak.

God wants you to come out of the anti-education,
anti-success, anti-MV paranoid mind-frame.

Yes, i did counsel for the educated, successful
MV user Billy Graham in 1968. What were you
doing for Jesus in the fourth grade that year?
Yes, we did see souls won for Iesus.

Yes, i've been a counselor in my church for 29
years. Yes, we are successful. Yes, we baptised
over 100 in 2003.

No, i am no a scholar.
But i can figure out the difference between
"there", "their", and "they're".

BTW, $1 a week is $50 year and $500 in ten years.
Do something enough PERIODICLY and it can amount to something.

The "s" was in KJV1769.
Yep, "she" becomes "he". A minor matter,
but changes it from Ruth going
into town (KJV1611) and Boaz going into
town (KJV1769)

Yes he even started sending me e-mails and then cut me off when I sent back some challenges for his examination, never responding to the questions I asked. I guess my challenges made him angry and he couldn't take the examination. His profile says he is a student. I always thought students were learners. But some will never learn because they never listen. When they do not listen they are only able to spew out what they already know. And that is always very little because they refuse to be taught. They are gods unto themselves.

So do you have an answer Tim? You keep popping in looking around, posting a few, then running off.
Are we scared we don't have the answers?

Ps. Thanks QS, you're right about one thing. Son glasses are needed.

If you say so-called bible, it`s not heresy.
Let me ask you a question, Brother Tim. Can a person get saved through reading the NASB? If so, and you are a bible believer, don't you have to admit the NASB is the word of God as the bible says in Romans 10:17 "faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God?" And in 2Timothy 3:15 we are told how we can know that the NASB is scripture is that "the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus."

If the NASB is able to make a person "wise unto salvation" then the bible says it is "holy scripture" and the "word of God." How then can you claim to be a bible believer if you deny these important verses found in the bible?

I am not going to allow abusive language to stand. Guess it means I will have to cut almost all of a certain posters contributions.

Doesn`t seem right that Dr. Bob can edit,
control, and give his very BIASED commentaries, all
at the same time . Do one or the other, not both
you may have a job to do at B.B. but that doesn`t
make you lord of this forum . I can`t help but
notice that "slurs" by those with YOUR views
never get snipped, let thier blood be on your hands, I`ve told the truth ,they and you have
rejected it.
Your opinion of what is and what is not a slur
appears to be BIASED as well .

Whether it is fair or not is moot.
That is the way it is. I'm studying the
Proverbs in Sunday School the months
of February and March. They tell two things:
the way things are, and the way things
should be. You, Bro. Tim L. Bynum,
have stumbled upon HOW IT IS.

Recall i got kicked off a nearby-in-cyber-space
board in November. I suspect (i have no
way of known, if they won't talk to me)
i was to critical of one of the
PTB = powers that be.

Recommened read: TYPE A BEHAVIOR AND YOUR HEART.
