Who here has a blog?

I've got an idea. I'm going to make a spot in my blog roll for Baptist Board Bloggers, and I will add links to all of you who put the URL of your blog here on this thread. It will be a couple of days before I can get to it to it, but I will do it. Why don't you guys consider doing the same thing?

Also, in addition to Cindy's suggestions on how to get readers to you blog, you might consider entering one of your last weeks posts in the Christian Carnival. Here's how to do it for this week:

And here's another tip I had forgotten about. If you're just starting a blog, you might find BlogBasics useful. (The link seems to be not working right now, but I assume it will be shortly.) This page is done by Tim Challies who has a blog called Challies.com.

Thank you for including me in your "blog roll", I will try to do the same as soon as I figure out what a "blog roll" is.

I am assuming that would just be a list of links to other blogs?

 

I just found out that you can post mp3 audio blogs, if you are using the Blogger.com engine for your blog. They have launched Audioblogger.com, you call their phon number, record your blog, and they post it as a mp3 to your blog. I did a test, it is online on my blog:

Well, it's done...I've got a Baptist Board Blogger section on my blogroll. You can see your links if you press on my webpage icon. Scroll down to below the Blogdom of God list.

I may move you all up above the Blogdom later--I hadn't really noticed how long that blogdom list is.

Okay, they should be fixed now. I forgot that when you cut and paste quotation marks to blogger, sometimes the font messes them up....

 

I hada blog on my site before i moved it to php. Now i've not revamped it for personal use. It was just a web blog for the site. I'm not sure about a personal one though but thank you for all the information I will check it out Thank you

 

Okay, I've taken the plunge. I started my own blog a few days ago. I just hope mine turns out to be as good as some of yours.

it all depends on what program you're using and also how much html coding you know.. if you just want links to other sites (like mine and baptist board , check out blogrolling.com. You can add all the links you want and then just add one line of code to your site. You are using Blogger.com, so all you'd have to do is edit the template under 'Template' off your Blogger.com dashboard. I'll do it for you if you want me to. It's not really that hard. I'll be out of town for two weeks starting Monday, but if you can catch me before then, I'd be happy to do it for you.
