Who is responsible for this atrocity? Pastors or street evangelists?

Amen!! Jon usually says things to me gentleness and respect and why he has my ear.

Yet in TWOTM - you tell someone they are a sinner and going to Hell-
Is that Gentleness and respect for someone that you want to have your ear.

Guys this thread is ridiculous. The op accuses people of things he cannot know but based solely on what he sees in their internet website profile and somehow he also knows these people are not saved because they have said a prayer. These are things in which one cannot, under any circumstances, know about anyone based on an internet website profile. I have never seen a more ludicrous accusation or thread on this board before.

By your fruits ye shall know them says Jesus. Just read a profile of a person that boasted of having a potty mouth, and boasted of drinking as much alcohol as possible and at the same time claimed to be a Christian!

Woo wait a minute, that is not what you said in the op. Sorry but I am finding all of this a bit insincere. You originally judged them to be lost because they said a prayer and did not get to hear lordship salvation which was evidenced, according to you, by the fact that they do not say anything about God, Jesus, or salvation in their internet profile.

Now, that that has been shown to be foolish you throw in this last accusation quoted above. Brother you are only hurting yourself.

No you are misinterpreting me or I am miscommunicating.

Plenty of saved people have said the sinners prayer (including me) but my CONCERN is with people that base their entire salvation on the prayer, yet live a life of disobedience towards Christ. This is shown by fruit and frankly people that never speak about Jesus online I am willing to bet may be false converts, but only God knows for sure.

1) How many people have been led to the Lord and discipled during your street preaching
2) Are you a faithful Husband - You know
"to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I pledge myself to you."
3) Proverbs 19:20
4) Colossians 4:2-6

Why do you think that faithful evangelism must always bring forth disciples? Mark 16:15-16 do not promise conversions, but simply states that if anyone does believe.

Your PROBLEM is the scripture and your disbelief of it shown in your denial of Mark 16:15-16.

The problem is you cannot possibly know them by their internet profile unless they just outright come out and say what you are accusing them of.

You problem is that you only addressed 1/2 of only one question
How about addressing the other 3 statements.
I do NOT deny Mark 16:15

Have a great life.

Nobody in this thread has denied Mark 16:15-16. Do NOT make such a false accusation again.

...In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood Godʼs grace.

They are more than likely a "cultural Christian". But then again, you post that you are a Christian and you have divorced your wife for no Biblical reason. Are you any better than they are?

This is a very serious accusation and you KNOW that it is not true. Your problem is that you cherry pick Scriptures (and responses to your posts) to make yourself feel better.

That passage is about wolves, or false prophets, not professing Christians. Read v. 15 of Matt. 7, not just v. 16.

Wrong. The Markan Great Commission does assume that people will be saved when given the Gospel. Read v. 16, where it says "the one believing" (an aorist active participle), meaning that yes, someone will believe when the Gospel is presented.

And you yourself are not obeying Mark 16:15 unless you have gotten a Gospel presentation to every single person in your area, not just those who happen by to see you street preaching.

I am on a site and have read a hundred or so profiles plus done keyword searches,etc.. what I have discovered is a multitude of people on this one site professing Christ yet never speaking at all about their faith in their profile. No mention of Jesus, the Bible, God or anything. This tragedy is within the Denver CO metro area and I have to wonder who is responsible. Who had told all these people that they are a Christian by saying a prayer, joining a church, or even worse being born a Christian. Yes I read a profile of someone that claims to have been born a Christian.

This is what happens when Lordship salvation is not preached. I'd say the pastors are primarily responsible for all these false converts roaming the churches in Denver. Whenever I open air I always try to use the law to convict of sin and I always try to emphasize Lordship salvation so I do not consider myself responsible for this.
How about Jesus salvation trid? Same way done by the Apostles themselves?
