You are confused. Kennedy's actions during the Bay of Pigs were deplorable, if you want to be generous.

You are referring to the Soviet missle crises. Kennedy's actions during that crises were exemplary and decisive.

May I suggest reading Thomas DiLorenzo's "The Real Lincoln."

Free speech was illegal for the duration of the Lincoln administration. That’s how modern historians and propagandists get away with lying to the public about the alleged "unity" of Northern opinion during the war. Of course there was relative "unity"; dissenting opinions were violently censored and the purveyors of those opinions imprisoned.

One of those imprisoned for fourteen months for simply questioning the unconstitutional suspension of habeas corpus was Francis Key Howard, the grandson of Francis Scott Key and editor of the Baltimore Exchange newspaper. In response to an editorial in his newspaper that was critical of the fact that the Lincoln administration had imprisoned without due process the mayor of Baltimore, Congressman Henry May, and some twenty members of the Maryland legislature, he was imprisoned near the very spot where his grandfather composed the Star Spangled Banner. After his release, he noted the deep irony of his grandfather’s beloved flag flying over "the victims of as vulgar and brutal a despotism as modern times have witnessed" (John Marshall, American Bastile, pp. 645–646). Least favorite in my life time?...Clinton. The most immoral, evil man to occupy the White House. There is a trail of blood in his past that will only truly be exposed at the Judgement. He has done irreparable socionomic damage, not only to our country, but to the countries that look to us as a socionomic and moral example.

Least favorite before my time?...I'll have to think about that one.

Every President of this country, those we've loved and those we haven't, have some skeleton in their closet. Some have been exposed and some haven't. When anyone other than God is put on a pedestal, the pedestal will crumble.:tonofbricks:

Amen to Lincoln!! He was the worse President ever!! He was responsible for the deaths of millions!!! I have read "the Real Lincoln" and "Lincoln Unmasked" and I highly reccomend reading these. He was no Christian and never accepted Christ contrary to folklure. He hated the free black citizens and wanted them out of the country. It is discusting to think he has a monument in Washington and he is even on our money.

You can read even more about this at KingLincoln.com.

If you hate lincoln that much, box up your pennies and your five dollar bills and send them to me... I sure can use them. After all if you hate something but use it anyway, isn't that being hypocritical?

The worse president I have lived under is George W. Bush. His incompetency seems to have no bounds. Others would include, Reagan, Nixon and LBJ.

BTW, I think Lincoln is in the top 3 or 4 of the best presidents in U.S. history.

"Least favourite President?"

That's a difficult choice. I"ll go with Jimmy Cater, he was incompetent as president and a national embarrassment as an ex-president.

In agreement except it is hard to put LBJ above Carter at times.

"...Liberia was founded in 1822 as a result of the efforts of the American Colonizatin Society to settle freed Americans slaves in West Africa. The society contended that the immigration of blacks to Africa was an answer to the problem of slavery as well as to what it felt was the incompatibility of the races. Over the course of forty years about 12,000 slaves were voluntarily relocate. ..."

In my lifetime it is a toss up between Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter.
I was that kid in 4th grade leading the "Carter Stinks!" cheer on the playground on the day of our mock school election in 1980!

Prior to me: Toss up between LBJ and FDR. Both of their political agendas reaked of socialism to me.

Yeah, always going around overseeing elections, housing the homeless, teaching university classes, writing books, vaccinating third-world children, sheesh!
