The diocese will win. They always do. I have watched this movement in Kentucky and so far not a single break away group has been able to keep its property. In Lexington they bought a Baptist church building that had been put up for sale after the members decided to move out to the edge of town.

Unfortunately, around the world, the church property is owned by the Anglican Churches and not the people who actually pay for them and their upkeep. So, legally the diocese will always win in these cases. BY the way, this also goes for monies willed to the local church.

Cheers,

Jim

in the 90's I use to listen to a pastor in northern Kentucky. I don't remember his name but he came on at 12:00 am Sunday morning. He was/is a baptist pastor and he called his program, "The Midnight Cry." Do any of you know if he is still on? The radio station was WCKY, but later renamed the call letters because it was sold to someone else. It use to be a country music station. I listened to it sense I was a young kid. I believe it was 1530 on the am radio dial.
