I have no problem voting for a woman. However, I’m leaning Pence in the primary.

Problem is these days most female candidates are men.

Trump or DeSantis both have my vote.

I wouldn't vote for Haley, primarily because she's too interventionist for me, and too pro-corporate lobby.

The fact that she's a woman does factor in, but I would place that at the primary level, rather than general election level. If it comes down to a Conservative woman vs a Liberal man I'll be voting for the woman every time.

If I was a Liberal I'd be voting for the woman multiple times.

For myself, at this point, I have no idea who would vote for. I am undecided. I like DeSantis, but Florida just elected him and if we "steal" him from them now - it may backfire on us - Floridians may object in the voting booth.

All I can say for certain is that I am looking for a conservative person who understands how to control his/her mouth and actions and who understands that while Americans will never be united fully again - a partial unity MUST be strived for.

Florida also has a law that prohibits its office holders from running for another office.

Probably why DeSantis hasn’t officially announced. He would have to resign as Governor to run for POTUS.

There was talk a few weeks ago about repealing that law. I hope they do not. It certainly looks like a conflict of interest on DeSantis part and the law is working as designed. Don’t change it because it inconveniences a repub governor.
