Who won the debate yesterday?

In my opinion Marco Rubio shined above the others who also put out good performances. I especially liked how Rubio made it clear that marriage is between a man and a woman, spoke of persecuted christians in america and other places, and just put out a overall performance despite the liberal ABCNews that said he did poorly. Ben Carson also had some good things to say as did Cruz. I think the only candidate that showed poor taste was Chris Christie but thats my opinion and others may not agree. What say you?

I thought Rubio had a disastrous first hour or so, giving robotic repetitious responses about Obama even as Christie taunted him about giving canned responses. He had a much better 2nd half.

I thought Bush had the best night , then Christie, then Kasich.

Who do you think will win on Tuesday?

Rubio will get my vote when it comes to Colorado. I think in NH that Trump will come out on top, then Rubio,then Cruz, then Carson, then Bush, etc..

Trump
Kasich
Rubio (or possibly Bush)

I was impressed with Christie and Kasich both. As with the last debate he participated in, I heard several "Donald is right", and, "I agree with Donald" comments. Seems Trump had an easy go of this one.

I didn't SAY that. I said that Christie roughed him up and it made me happy.

Why did it make me happy? He told Rubio that all he had were canned responses that he kept repeating. After Christie pimpslapped him back into reality, Rubio actually woke up.

I would say Cruz won. He never let the moderators trap him and he stayed above the fray of all the fighting. Rubio lost clearly, Christie just destroyed him in their tussle.

I like Cruz, but he chickened out on telling Trump to his face that he lacked the temperament to be President. Cruz also looked like a jerk trying to defend his stealing of Carson votes in Iowa. He also waffled on the question of pre-emptively striking N. Korean missile on the launching pad.

I think he may like the idea of 'Vice President Cruz', along with some of the others that would settle for VP. Also bear in mind Trump is very popular in NH and all of them want to make a good showing in that primary.

Rubio has my vote, but unfortunately I must disagree and say he lost the debate. Christie destroyed him when he challenged him on his lack of accomplishments and truancy in the Senate. He talked of Marco repeating a memorized 20-25 second response speech to his attacks and Marco proved him right by doing this 2 to 3 times in their short five minute exchange. I am a bit surprised Marco was not more prepared for these attacks from the likes of Christie and Bush as they had been launching them for days up to preceding the debate as they feel they are all fighting for the same establishment votes. Nevertheless, I predict New Hampshire will turn out #1 Trump, # 2 Rubio (perhaps behind Trump by about 10%).The third spot is a bit harder to predict and I feel it may go to either Cruz or Kasich who has been campaigning hard in the sate, but I wouldn't be surprised is Christy snatches it as a result of his stellar debate performance. If Kasich, Christie, or Jeb do not finish in at least the third spot you will see a few of them drop out shortly thereafter.

The only thing that disappointed me about Rubio is that he wasn't quick enough to throw it right back at him and put Christie in his place. All he had to do was ask Christie how many times he has given his 25 second sound bites like every other candidate does. They all have them.

If I was Rubio I would have said, "that's right Chris, and I'm going say it another twenty times if I'm given the opportunity tonight, we've heard your 25 second talking point a few hundred times already about how you governed New Jersey and that's old news, I'm focusing on the problem, which is Obama."

Christie looked like a jerk. He fell off my list of possible choices after this debate.

why would you take Rubio over Cruz? seriously, Rubio is not what this country needs.

Rubio is a lost Roman Catholic, Cruz is a saved southern baptist.
