OK, I finally understand the title.

I don't watch the View and don't really give a hoot about its main hosts. She only got 2 weeks, meh....they only did that for show and to draw attention to the show.

She just got a tap on the wrist. Nothing to see here. She won't change her opinion and anti-Semitism will continue.

She wasn't being anti-Semetic. I opened the link and listened to the section on the View. All Goldberg did was to say that all humanity is corrupt. It's actually what every Christian believes, because the Bible tells us this truth.
Ken is correct. The suspension is showing a society that hates honest dialogue from dissenting positions. And, we often see a microcosm of society here in this forum. Radical and disrespectful right wing thinkers on this discussion board will shout down anything they deem too liberal.

She pooh-poohed the whole thing because of a refusal to understand who Jews are.

Jews are a tribal group and as such have their own culture, just like gypsy's, Mennonites and the Apache Nation. That is not a race. Race is a false construct.

I agree, but I also kind of agree with her. Hitler used race as a propaganda tool. I believe his real problem with Jews was their cultural identity and their religious heritage. Most of the Jews in Germany were so close race wise to the Germans that the only definitive test was to see if the males were circumcised. The Blue eyed, blond haired, 6 ft plus tall, German was the ideal, not the requirement. Many Germans, Including Hitler, did not meet his criteria of the ideal Aryan.

No, that is not what she said.

She said the holocaust was just a bunch of white people killing each other.

Whether you accept it or not, the Jewish people are considered a “race” of people. And the holocaust was an attempt to kill that entire race of people.

All human beings live ungodly lives. But thanks be to God that He imputed the sins of His elect to Christ and imputed Christ's righteousness to His elect. And it is through the new heart of flesh that God replaced His elect's stony heart with that they, though they are still dealing with and buffeted by their flesh while on this earth, they do not fight like the world.

I don't even recall what Roseanne Barr got in trouble for or if I was even posting much or at all on this board at that time. I weighed in on this particular topic because I noticed it and Michael Smerconish devoted a portion of his show to the topic and I heard the audio of what Whoopi Goldberg said.
