The campaign ended about 6 weeks ago. I can't remember what Hillary ran on, except "Donald Trump is unfit to be President". Her slogans were dumb, "Stronger Together" and "Love Trumps Hate". I'm having a hard time remembering what issues she emphasized--raising the minimum wage, but not to $15, expanding health care, creating a no-fly zone in Syria, raising taxes on the wealthy. Otherwise I can't recall much about it.

Trump, on the other hand, was going to "Make America Great Again" by building a wall, deporting illegals, banning Muslim immigration, cutting both personal and corporate taxes, building infrastructure, cutting regulations, etc. It was easy to remember, easy to digest.

Hillary only has herself to blame. It was a terrible campaign.

The voters.
The Russians allegedly changed the vote tallies. There's going to be an investigation (I hope) on that. In addition Comey had no grounds for bringing up the topic of emails again right before the election. He said that but too late to remove the impact of that lie on this election. The people spoke and Hillary won the popular vote. The difference in the electoral vote is explained by my two previous points.

What is the source of said allegations

I doubt if there will be a public transparent investigation of the election because both sides probably have nasty stuff on their boots.

The best thing that may come of it is bipartisan election reform.

You said the Russians "changed the vote tallies". What do you mean by that? I took you to mean that they hacked the voting machines.

This is probably fake news FTW.

The Russian "behind the scenes" influence and the propping up of the wiki-leaks, hacking the DNC and leaking stuff on their own, is the most likely method they used.

It is possible for the Russians (actually the Ukrainians) to have "hacked" those voting machines connected to the web (if any) but unlikely.
