Why are you so filled with fear of others?

Again why would you choose to visit a doctor when you are sick? Where is your faith in that? Why are you so fearful of sickness will God not heal you?

Christians are raped murdered and robbed all the time. Your attitude is a foolish one not supported by scripture.

If fact it would be silly if it were not so sad.

Define please what the signifigant category difference between the purpose of the military and the purpose of private weapon ownership is CTB....
Also, private weapon ownership (in this country at least) also forms, besides personal protection, a defense against those enemies of freedom such as liberals who would just as quickly deny freedom-loving Americans their Constitutional rights as any communist would.

As a direct answer to your OP question....
You would not understand

I'm British and we don't carry guns (not many of us anyway) and despite recent riots in London earlier this year I don't know anyone who has been assaulted, and I don't know anyone who has ever been burgled or robbed.

Carrying guns is very much a cultural thing that differs from country to country according to their history and traditions.

That said. The original question doesn't make sense. Whether someone is a Christian or not and whether someone is armed or not are completely unrelated subjects.

I remember the days in England when if a crook carried a gun he was reported to the bobbies by other criminals..then came the Crays of London. I never saw a funeral so large as when Cray died in prison. I think every East Londoner showed up. The Crays ruled East London businesses,,,and they didn't need guns early on to do that.

Cheers,

Jim

English people were safe as long as the people in England were English. As your population of people from your colonies increases, crime will increase exponentially.

I am the shepard of my family. It is my job to protect my flock. If the wolves only bit and clawed, then a rod and staff would be more than enough protection. Times have changed. My rod and staff are now a S&W 40 that I carry daily. I will be ready when the wolf knocks on my door.

Even though the shepards of the day had strong faith while working the fields, they had to fall back to somewhat violent means to protect their flocks. I am prepared to do the same. And with the Lord on my side, either the wolf WILL NOT knock on my door, or if he does, when the fight is over, I will be victorious and my flock will be unharmed.
