Why Christians Refuse to Worship Earth

So you're against reducing air and water pollution because of the fact that the Republicans aren't leading it. Correct? In other words you're against it. OK. I'll continue to support improving the environment for the sake of our children and grandchildren.

Do not put words in my mouth.

The Republicans elevated corporations to the same level as people in the Citizens United Supreme Court case to allow unlimited, unreported campaign contributions by them. The GOP worships the almighty dollar. Maybe we should call them the Greenback Party.

That's fine. I'm not a Republican. I have principles, though. They are very quaint and old-fashioned. You may have learned about them. They are called Christianity, Classical Liberalism and patriotism.

You must have missed all of the companies now reinvesting back in the Us due that, such as Apple 350 Billion dollars, the many who received their 1000 bonus money, and those who had the wages raised to 15.00 min now!

I'll sit here and try to imitate my best Nancy Pelosi sour lemon face at this news, LOL.

I doubt MS Peolosi has had that problem, so it probably was pennies to her!

I have had that problem before, and I remember just what it was like.

There's nothing like being a temp and saving up money so you can afford not to work when the whole office is off on their Christmas holiday break.

Do not put words in my mouth.

Typical leftist tactics (just like the aforementioned CTB) when they can't refute your point, they resort to slander/lying! Precisely why I think FTW is a reincarnation of CTB; virtually the exact phrasing he was famous for!!.
I must admit that I do admire your restraint though !!!!!:)

Most of the corporate savings were used by companies to buy back their own stock. This does nothing for workers. Plans are just that, plans. We'll see how much is actually spent on capital investment or increasing wages.

It looks like the post you responded to was deleted so I'll reply to this one. From the article that was quoted:

Dr. Konisky found that “environmentalism is not increasing, and there are signs it is actually in decline,” among Christians. The data, from 1990 through 2015, “indicates that Christians, compared to atheists, agnostics and individuals who do not affiliate with a religion, are less likely to prioritize environmental protection over economic growth, and they are more likely than others to believe global warming is exaggerated.” This is true.

Yes, that is a true statement.

Did you read anything else in the article, and if so, what did you think about it?

Drive up to Newark or over to Camden and see if you like the air quality there. Gee, why not move there?
