Probably better if sbg said: "Why do I think Reformed/Calvinists hate the lost? This thread's title might better be worded as "Why do the Reformed/Calvinists seemingly hate the lost?"

Probably they're all 'skewed' against sovereign grace as you are. It's asinine to think kosmos is referring to 'every man/woman/child alive that has ever lived or will live' each time it's used in the NT. Example:
19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Behold how ye prevail nothing: lo, the world is gone after him. Jn 12
Common sense dictates that this could not possibly mean 'every man/woman/child alive that has ever lived or will live'.
Neither could this one:
20 Jesus answered him, I have spoken openly to the world; I ever taught in synagogues, and in the temple, where all the Jews come together; and in secret spake I nothing. Jn 18
...and....there's many others to reason with.
Please provide a source. Why Do The Reformed/Calvinists Hate the Lost?
It's simple really they hate the lost because if they got saved, they would over crowd heaven. I've actually read them saying that
MB
because we hold to the truth of it?
SBG,
According to the Bible, God does not love everyone:
1) " For thou [art] not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man." ( Psalms 5:4-6 ).
In the above, we see that God has no pleasure in wickedness, do we not? He hates all workers ( yes, that means people ) of iniquity. He will destroy them that speak lies, and He will abhor ( regard with disgust and hatred ) the bloody and deceitful man.
Not just the sin, but the sinner right along with the sin is what and who God hates.
2) " The wicked in [his] pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth." ( Psalms 10:2-3 ).
Again,
In the above we see that the Lord "abhors" ( to regard with disgust and hatred ) the covetous.
This is because of His holiness.
The Psalmist even says, under inspiration, "Let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined".
Is this a God that loves everyone equally?
No it is not.
Not found in Scripture. The Holy Bible is very clear, that God VERY MUCH LOVES the human race, that is, ALL without exception,
Indeed. Do you understand the covenant God made with Moses at Sinai? If you do, you understand why he detests them. Yet, if you also understand the covenant with Abraham and the New Covenant, you understand that the people of the promise are not everyone in Israel. They are a remnant in Israel and from the Gentiles whom God has redeemed. Remember, "not all Israel is Israel."Pslam 106:40 says that God DETESTS His own people!!!
haha wowby misusing Bible verses like Romans 9:13, which has nothing to do with salvation, but rather of SERVING!

haha wow

So, you prove Dave's quoting of scripture to be correct. God does hate sinners.
Why did Paul write what he did and quote from the old testament in Romans 9?so why do reformed make a big deal with "Jacob I have loved and Easu I have hated"? God also hates His very own people!
Why did Paul write what he did and quote from the old testament in Romans 9?
Why did God hate covenant breakers in Israel?
These are questions you should endeavor to answer since God clearly said what he said.
Yep and it says nothing about God loving every individual unconditionally.have you read John 3:16 without your Calvinistic specs?![]()
Um, you are the one making the claim. You need to prove your point.prove me wrong?
Another D.O.A. thread for the benefit of those who hate biblical teaching about GodThe title of this thread made me laugh out loud.
The ignorance and prejudice of the OP, just in the title, tells me that this thread isn't meant to be a place of open discussion, but is instead a place for the OP to reveal his prejudice and ignorance to the readers. To that end, I am able to see where the OP fully misses the mark.
Enjoy, and to the OP, thanks for making me laugh out loud.

What makes you say Jesus died for Judas? Did Jesus also die for Pharaoh?Jesus died for Judas as well, He would have only done so because of LOVE!
