Why do you debate?

Two reasons:

I'm predestined to debate.

I like this answer the best. I teach my members to know what they believe and why they believe what they believe. Debate here prepares me for them.

2) I debate…To take up for my God when others say bad things about Him.

7) I debate…To understand more about the 2 sides.

8) I debate…To honor God.

9) I debate…to know my God.

13) I debate…To teach others.

14) I debate... To learn.

I don't know if I necessarily "debate" much. I just throw my ideas (often jokes) around and see if anything sticks.

I have debated other issues: [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

;)

I want to learn and teach. Really, I do.

Likewise, J.D.

But, nonetheless, isn't the comic relief we have here refreshing?

Especially in light of some of the vitrol we've seen over the C/A and KJV threads! :tear:

I would go with 7 and 14, although I mostly read the debates or ask questions. Although sometimes I have to jump in.I generally don't do that unless someone is being espescially intollerant.
