I'M SORRY! I'm blonde! Totally, definitely blonde! Donna used to sign in under another name and I remembered that she was signing in under a name that wasn't hers but that was before and then she changed and my intelligence didn't and I hope that helps solve that idiocy on my part!

That was a fun sentence to write!

So no, you don't need a ton of education and other people's commentaries. But sometimes they help you go deeper and if that is fun and rewarding for you, great. If it is confusing for you, then stop. You know how to read and that is enough. You know the Bible, you know the Lord, and you can answer for your faith. I have seen you do it for several years now.

You ain't half bad, kid!
Thanks Helen. I love to study, and love to go deeper and learn all I can. I do use study helps, not against helps, but only God can reveal what He means when He says soemthing.
I posted this thread sarcastically, and then forgot about it, sorry all.
It gets frustrating when people think they know so much more then you just because they're educated, been to bible collage or something, throw al the big words and stuff at you like you have to know all this to understand the bible or your dumb. They easily write you off if you don't have a degree, or can't read and speak greek or soemthing, like all their understanding of scripture comes from thweir education, not from God. But if it comes from God then we can all have that knowledge, it is available to anyone who wil sincerely read and study scripture.
Nothing against education, but it in no way makes anyone smarter when it comes to scripture, all it proves is you know more big words then I do, not that you know more scripture then I do.
