    Thank you very much. I guess I was illiterate or something when I read that part.

    But...

    Recently we asked certain non-Baptist posters to not "proselytize" their religion, not to declare that "salvation was only through their church".

    At no point did I say anything about the RCC being the only church in which salvation was available. I don't believe that, but that's a whole new topic that could get quite long.

    So, basically, it's okay to bash every religion except Baptist, but not share what those other religions believe, even to do the following:

    1. Correct misunderstandings and misconceptions.
    2. Defend.

    At least, not without ridicule?

    In this forum we are here to debate or discuss doctrine--not to proselytize to another. Keep in mind that it is a Baptist Board. Every religion will be discussed (at least from my perspective) from the basis of the Bible, though other sources may be entertained. By all means: state what you believe--as doctrine--not as an invitation to come to your church. Expect your DOCTRINE to be challenged.
