Why I disagree with the LEFT's (christianity)

My view is they are part of the great apostasy which must come before the revealing of the man of sin, the son of perdition, (hell) onto the world political stage of the last of the last days
Distortion: How the New Christian Left is Twisting the Gospel and Damaging the Faith

Some professing Evangelicals are working to change minds when it comes to same-sex marriage, religious liberty, big government, and even the sanctity of life. Their success has been modest but noticeable in some Evangelical churches, campus ministries, and even Christian universities.

The Christian Left is trying to creep in—quietly championing a distorted version of the Gospel more consistent with political liberalism than biblical teaching.

The Christian Left heralds its political agenda by undermining the authority of the Bible. Once the lines of truth are blurred, confused young Evangelicals start trying to reconcile their faith with same-sex marriage, taxpayer funded abortions, anti-Israel sentiments, feminism, pacifism, and the nanny state. The danger of this distorted, liberal theology is that it breaks down the moral values outlined in Scripture. It also encourages young Evangelicals to deny Judeo-Christian principles used to establish a just and prosperous nation.

For example the great apostasy must come first before the man of sin, the son of perdition is revealed.
The LEFT does not know when to stop moving LEFT, their ideas of social justice move way past the scriptures.

Jesus tells us the poor will always be with you, so socialism's equality historically, makes most everyone the same as in many poor downtrodden, and a few rich elite. It lifts no one up, it flattens you like a steamroller.

The christian LEFT, what an oxymoron, is allied with the cares of this world, is allied with the LEFT. And they use the world systems to further their ideas of social justice. So they speak as the world speaks.

Paul calls this the mystery of lawlessness is already at work ( and within the churches), because the world does not apostatize, only the church can do that.
Once having rejected the laws of God, leaves you as lawless ones. Lawless ones are allied with the world system, this present evil age, and the devil.

2 Thessalonians 2
New King James Version

The Great Apostasy
2 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.

When the Bible is no longer seen as being inspired and authoritative, all sorts of errors and heresies come out!

The world has had nearly two thousand years of Christian influence. A great many today that are not Christians do not even realize whence their moral standards derive, how they have been influenced. They often apply Christian standards, but with no understanding, no discernment.

Too many Christians intuitively sense the Christian influence in these attempts, but haven’t the understanding or discernment to realize how they are being perverted, then join in and promote them with disastrous consequences.

This is how you get movements like Feminism, LGBTQ, BLM, BAMN, Antifa, etc., with Christians mindlessly embracing them. There have been moral failures to be sure. But these fix nothing, but rather ensure that the failures will multiply and deepen.

Wicked men and deceivers grow worse and worse. Those groups you mention have no interest in the kingdom of God, righteousness (believing and following Christ), and godliness, shunning the sins of the flesh. They embrace their flesh and indulge its every whim and fancy.

That which is flesh is flesh and that which is spirit is spirit, you must be born again.
the flesh profits nothing.

Christianity is neither left nor right. One of the great idols of Christians is to place their hopes in politics. Christians in the US are guilty of trying to create their own image of utopia through legislation. Having lost their first love, they have turned to the idols of their culture.

But there are nonetheless several things going on. For example, in 2 Cor 11:13-15, Paul refers to false apostles, deceitful workers. But in 2 Cor 11:2-4, he is speaking to Christians, yet says,

"I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough."

Those are staggering words. Yet Paul hasn't given up on them, but rather is writing to them for the purpose of correction.

...

Do not fully agree
There are moral issues that we should be concerned about:

Abortion
sene gendr marriage (spelling error on purpose)
Welfare - Bible teaches - you dont work - you dont eat
and ect

found this interesting articel"
4 reasons Christians should care about politics - ERLC
Caring about moral issues in our culture is very much a Godward endeavor.
Being consumed over President Trump remaining President in this last election is idol worship along the lines of worshipping Ceasar. It is a sin in which Christians should repent.

Your personal characterizations not facts soooo....no they dont.
Personal observation, yes. Fact, from personal observation, yes. Fact that you disagree with my observation, yes.
Rev, you answer to God for yourself, not to me. My observation of idol worship in the body of Christ remains accurate.

Nope short on facts. Full of judgment based on your dislike of the views of others views in politics. Thats what this boils down to. You don't like their position and what they value else what we are left with for you is a gnostic type view of politics which is not good either.

Entirely false.
I have no problem with a person having a particular political view. I find the Republican platform to be much better than the Democratic platform.
What it boils down to is my observation of American Christians who have lifted up politics as a god that can grant them a happy life, free from struggles. It is idol worship. It requires repentance before our King.

Yes...they have.
Even the godless observe the idol worship of Christians in America. It is why they correctly call out the hypocrisy of the American evangelical church.

No they havent and the godless are always looking to criticize those with different views. Not a good example.
