Why is the Christian Reformed Church in Decline?

But according to the Calvinist doctrine of Limited Atonement (the "L" in T.U.L.I.P) Jesus didn't die for everyone, just the elect. So unless you are the "elect" the Gospel is not meant for them.

Not so. The gospel also condemns the reprobate. It's to be proclaimed to ALL people.

Another note, if Calvinism is true, why share the Gospel at all?

I've alswered this one about 1,000 times, but I will again: God uses means. He uses the proclaimation of the gospel to call His elect. See the Great Commission and Romans 10:14 "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?"

Wouldn't the elect come strolling in the church doors regardless of ever hearing the Gospel?

See above.

Or is God now dependant on man to share the Gospel to someone in order for them to get saved?

Yes. What an honor. God uses men in this process. Arminians ceratianly belive that, as well. He is not "dependant", though. He can use donkeys and rocks, if He so chooses.

The Christian Reformed denomination also happens to be one of the more liberal of such in the USA, comparable in many respects to the United Church of Christ. It is apples and oranges when comparing them to various other "Reformed" churches.

Completely untrue.

I can't account for every reformed church. My husband and I attend Apologia Church. It's growing like wildfire. Phoenix Reformed Baptist Church is not too far away.

Matt Chandler from the Village church Texas is huge. Same for St. Andrews Church in FL. Grace Community church in California (John MacArthur's church) is still growing.

Here is my Pastor. I have been with him to preach the gospel at abortion clinics.

I think that there is some confusion of terms in this thread. There is a denomination which has the word "Reformed" in its title that has some very liberal congregations. The "Reformed Church in America" is quite a mixed bag.

Why are we now putting limitations on God? Is God now dependant on humanity to save His elect?

True, as reformed baptists and conservation Reformed seem to still be growing.

Website of the Christian Reformed Church in North America
Right from the start, the Christian Reformed Church...played a key role in creating — and continuing to work on — the New International Version of the Bible....going back to 1955 when Howard Long, a CRC layman from Seattle, Wash., first brought the idea of a new translation in contemporary English
the NIV has become the world’s most read modern-English Bible translation of the Bible with over 450 million copies distributed worldwide. "The NIV arose out of the CRC and the CRC has been deeply involved in working on it," says Williams, secretary of the committee that meets every year to consider updates to the NIV.
