Below is a link to a video that I have come across recently discussing the issue of why many Christian men stay single. I have posted my response to the video that is below the link. Please share any thoughts or insights that you may have concerning this topic.

Why many Christian men remain single? Well, this video only showed half of the picture, which is also somewhat inaccurate. Let's start this off. 1.) "Men are immature and only play video games all day." Alright maybe some guys, but certainly not all. I've seen plenty of women who act like little girls by gossiping, being materialistic and irresponsible, and cry when they don't get their own way. Maybe some modern day women should focus upon improving their own maturity levels first before looking at other people. 2.) "Men don't understand the calling for their lives." Not every guy is clueless about what they want to do with their life. In my early 20's I decided to join the military, so I could work as an IT and travel the world. I've been working in the Information Technology field ever since and I am truly passionate about my career. As a church member I volunteer, tithe, and support my pastor in carrying out the work of the Lord. So discovering our calling is not an issue for many of us. We know what we are doing and the direction we are heading in. 3.) "Paralysis of analysis?" Hardly the case. As a nine year military veteran, I've been highly trained to make many tough decision in very stressful situations. I didn't have the luxury to be indecisive. There are many men that I know of, some friends, neighbors, colleagues, and co-workers that are more than capable of making some hard choices in their lives. I can't say the same for some women however, who will take 30 minutes just to decide what they are going to eat for lunch that day. Another reason why many modern day women don't get asked out is that men are simply tired of the drama that comes with dating and relationships. Many women today are very entitled, self centered, arrogant, hypocritical, condescending, and hateful gold diggers that only care about what a man will give them with no desire to enrich his life in return. I believe modern day feminism and societal double standards that favor women are some contributing factors to this existing condition. There are some good women still out there, however, these precious gems are very hard to find in today's world. With all that said, I bow out.

Feminism has ruined women. Feminists are miserable women who make the men in their lives miserable. Feminism also causes the government to punish working men, for every woman who stays home, so something called equality is achieved, and therefor men can't be providers as women would like.

The government punishes marriage through higher taxes. the government punishes men who get married by taking away their children, and giving them a monthly bill, when the marriage fails.

And, churches celebrate divorce. Fake loves wins again.

And, if that women belongs to one of most churches, the church will be "loving and supportive" of her, treating her like she's a victim rather than a perpetrator.

The typical modern woman is incapable of being happy with any man, and they face no penalty for breaking a marriage.

Not quite Marty. I reject the youtuber's hypothesis on the subject covered as stated, and I only give my money to my local church (tithing). This youngblood has much to learn about modern day dating, relationships, marriage, divorce, etc. Hopefully he realizes what is really going on here like so many men already do.

In my humble opinion Women aren't any worse than most men. Women of the night all agree there's is the best way to live and they tend to be the most unhappy. The same with men They look for all the wrong qualities in a women. Looks being the most important. Promiscuity the next. I was attracted to my wife because she was quite and a bit shy. In fact she still is. She believes in God just as I do. She is loving and warm and I truly believe she thinks of me before she thinks of her self. As do I in our relationship. A marriage depends on the why of the relationship. A sexy woman is most likely going to give you more problems than you might think possible. I wouldn't have a gossip or one who depends on her friends advice. IOW"s following the crowd. Don't even think you can change them or convert them because you cannot. I dated until I was 29 years old. Women with all sorts of back grounds and I was about ready to give up when I met my wife. We dated for nearly two years before I asked her to marry me. We knew each others likes and dislikes and most importantly we both believed in Jesus Christ The latter made it a success..

It sounds like you have found a good woman who loves you, and even more importantly loves Jesus Christ. Every marriage should be centered around Jesus for it to even have a chance to last. I really do believe there are great Christian women out there, it just seems like they are so hard to find. To be fair, I also believe it's getting harder for women to find a good man as well. Look at women complaining about being oppressed. They greatly outnumber men in college, but look at all the angry feminist groups on campus. They still get a great deal of sexual preferences in the work place, yet insist they get paid less for the same work. They almost always "win" in divorce. Tyler Swift, currently the highest paid celebrity in the world, just came out with a song, The Man, asking how much further ahead she'd be if she were a man.

Half of all women are incapable of having lasting happiness with any man. In 90% of marriages, the woman is the chief reason the marriage isn't happier. You don't hear this because Political Correctness, female privilege, protects women from criticism. It's like talking about race and crime.

I would have to disagree. I believe men marry the wrong women because of infatuation not Love. Women it may seem to you that they have all the privileges but a lot of women file for divorce because of abuse. The last 7 years of my working life I managed properties in which over the course of that time I seen a lot of women beat to a pulp by men who would come back and beg the women to take them back. If they did take them back it would start all over again. It seems to me sir that you must hate women and is why you attempt to defame them. The truth is men and women have the same lust as each other they have the same jealousies as each other. Only on occasion do we hear of a women beating a man to a pulp. There are other forms of abuse as well perpetrated on women. Maybe you feel abused because you can't find one that will really love you. Start looking at your self and how you treat women. I've found that women just can't resist a man who is respectful of her. You don't seem to have any respect for women.

Even in the cases of physical abuse, most abuse if two-way (including non-physical abuse). Have men become more violent in recent decades? You know it hasn't. Divorce has gone way up in recent decades.

Wrong they have become more abusive. Where I live men not only abuse there wives but also there children. One man Murdered his wife and little babies. Violence is every where I've lived where I am for a long time and there has not been even one day go by that someone isn't murdered. It seems we are all in hell right now. Marriage has to be in even respect for each other and it's clear that you haven't any respect. some men think when he marries a woman he all of a sudden owns that woman. Murder is never insignificant.The reason the divorce rate is so high is because people don't know what love is.

I'm saying women are not any worse than men. I'm saying everyone who gets married with out the marriage being Christ centered are destined to failure. Marriage takes real love not infatuation. Both men and women marry for the wrong reasons. Real Love never fades away. Both sexes claim they have fallen out of love when that is impossible. That's infatuation. Men and women both need to learn what love really is. Love is about sacrifice it's about being concerned about each other more than them selves. Real love is selfless and protective. Infatuation is about the satisfaction of self desires
