Why Obama is pulling ahead amongst Demcrats

For those who have the hobby of keeping up with Democrats, it is easy to see why Obama is pulling ahead of Clinton by casual observation.

Listen to the campaign speeches. Obama has good voice inflection, he has charisma, keeps the interest of the audience, and connects with his audience.

Clinton, on the other hand, says the same obnoxious phrases, and basically gives a monotone speech. That tone is screech.

Indeed. Obama exudes smooth energy. His style is more inspirational.

Clinton cannot compare.

He has as much Charisma as Joel Osteen... hmmm.... Maybe Joel can be on his cabinet.

Osteen can't hold a candle to Obama in terms of charisma. Osteen comes off as overly cheery. Obama seems more natural.

Tim,
Don't misunderstand my post. I would not vote for either. This was just a way to explore why Obama is doing so well against the Clinton machine.

Democrats want change, and they want it so bad...

Clinton represents the same ol same ol.... She is too "Washington"
Not enough change...

Obama, with his youth, Charisma, and being a newbie, is more what they are looking for...

There is a certain "energy" that spills out of Obama...

Obama is appealing to a young crowd who is falling for his rhetorical gimmicry. As much as I hate to admit this, Ron Paul is starting to look good to me.

It's hard not to LIKE Senator Obama. I won't be voting for him, but I do like him. I find him the most pleasant of all the remaining candidates.

Not only does Obama speak well, he carries himself well also. During these past weeks of intense campaigning with Clinton, he did not appear upset or rattled. He projected someone who was in charge and under control, something sorely needed in a president.

Interestingly...a Reagan-esque trait.

Though politically they have little in common...this character trait is one they share.

I believe you are correct. Outside of this similarity, Reagan was a disaster as a president!

It means a lot that a Obama supporter would say it.. that really puts Obama into perspective....

Too bad that nasty wall fell..

I never said that Reagan did nothing good. He was not as bad as Jimmy Carter was, but in my opinion, he was not nearly what he is portrayed to be.

BTW, I would take Reagan over George W. Bush any day.

There must be an unwritten law that you and I can never agree on a candidate because right when you're game for Paul I've moved on. Wonders never cease. :D

Whether I agree with someone or not, I think we should call everyone by the handle they have chosen. To do otherwise demeans them. IMHO
