Why President Obama Might Win in 2012

Yes, you sure are.

I said myself it would sound crazy. But maybe it's not.

Muslim isn't a race or ethnicity.

I should have said Arab.

That means that Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side. He is 43.75% Arabic, and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side.

http://kennethelamb.blogspot.com/2008/02/barak-obama-questions-about-ethnic.html

I'm floored by this. Out of all the nutty things I've heard people say about Mr. Obama, this one is the craziest. I have honestly never heard this one before, so I'm not sure what to say.

Then you are unaware, there has been much written on this. As was mentioned, two known homosexuals who attended his church were mysteriously murdered in one month back in 2007 just as Obama started his campaign. Another died from illness within the same month. Family members of these victims have said they were Obama's lovers.

Then there is the story of Larry Sinclair who said he engaged in homosexual acts and used cocaine with Obama back in 1999 I believe. Google it, it is easy to find.

Edit- here is a video on the subject.

Only one reason why President Obama will be re-elected...the Republicans are nominating Romney.

That's about it kids.

Keep in mind that the Democrats help nominated Romney due to open primary laws

The Govt should keep its nose out of party politics

We know that Obama is of Muslim descent, so he could possibly fit this description. I do not know his exact descent. .

Muslim isn't a race or ethnicity..

Where did Winman say Muslim was a race or ethnicity?

So, what I am saying is that Obama may lose this election. This may be the wound to his head the scriptures speak of. He might be considered politically dead.

But the scriptures say the antichrist will rise from the dead and the world will wonder. Could it be possible that somehow Obama will lose, and yet wrest power back again?

All this to say that I think he will lose this election, but he is not finished yet. He will be back.

Could it be that Obama could be the next Grover Cleveland of 1892

That would be 120 years - Does the number 120 have any (Biblical) significance"

As a theoretical matter, I would agree that everyone with an income should pay Federal income taxes. However, it's important to note that those with lower incomes pay more as a proportion of their income in sales taxes, payroll taxes, gas tax, and government fees such as vehicle registration fees.

What do you mean "theoretical" I believe all should pay fed tax - and the fairest way is the automatic electronic tax.
BTW, the "payroll tax" is not a tax - it is a interest free loan to the government.
I will agree about DMV fees. Here in NY, when a person buys a new car, the State will charge you 50-100 just to print up a new registration for you to TRANSFER plates from your old car to your new one. No justification at all.

and far as equity - don't forget traffic fines - anything from parking tickets to speeding tickets..
If a lawyer gets a $300 speeding ticket - thats about one hour pay for him - so will it really deter him? But for a lower wage earner - that $300 is a full weeks pay.

Barack Obama is not a socialist- not even close. He's a centrist Democrat.
Okay explain the difference

So since the mainstream media has not reported it,- it must be untrue.
Have you checked any of the references?

Interesting observation. Note that Grover Cleveland won the popular vote in 1888, but not the Electoral College. It would be very interesting if that happened this election. Actually, it might be a disaster, there would probably be riots.

Another interesting note about Grover Cleveland I found humorous;

Cleveland's elementary education came at the Fayetteville Academy and the Clinton Liberal Academy

I think Obama went to this same school.

1. The Economy
Basically, he believes the President will use former administrations as a scapegoat in the economy area (this will be a recurring theme in these points, by the way).

He executed his plan, the $881 Billion stimulus bill and it failed. Romney only needs to remind people of this. Also it's 3 1/2 years into Obama's term, no other recovery has taken as long.

2. The Surge of Troops into War

Not a huge issue with the majority of voters.

3. The Kill of Osama Bin Laden

Already off the radars of most people. Think of Bush 1 and his 80% approval rating after the U.S. liberated Kuwait in winter 1991. That was long gone by election season.

4. Homeless Rate of Veterans

Not a huge issue with the majority of voters.

5. Obamacare
Whether we like it or not, Obamacare as voted on by Congress was not how it was written up originally. With the unpopularity of Obamacare, he could easily remind people that Congress added so many changes to it that it wasn't his plan. As a campaign theme, he could promise to fix it.

This dog won't hunt. Obamacare was totally the Democrats creation. If Obama didn't get what he wanted it was a failure of leadership. The Dems held closed door meetings and no Republicans voted for it.

6. Unrest Among Other Middle Eastern Countries

This just isn't that important of an issue with most voters.

The overriding issue is the economy. No sitting president has been re-elected with unemployment where it stands right now, unless there was dramatic movement downward. (FDR was the exception) I think Reagan got re-elected in 1984 with an unemployment rate of around 7% but it had been dropping fast from over 10% and the economy was well on its way to recovery. In contrast unemployment rate under Obama almost reached 10% and it's only been reduced to 8.3%.

Still, Obama could be re-elected because he's got tons of money to spend on advertising and his campaign of class envy, "the rich need to pay their fair share", will resonate with a lot of folks.

It has the appearance of being a close race between Mitt Romney and President Obama. I suspect with the poor economy, and ideas tried over the past 3 years not working, that Obama will have a difficult time winning in November. But then again FDR was in a similar position, with a lousy economy and poor performance from economic ideas tried and yet he won elections over and over.

I'm guessing though that times are different from when FDR was in office. Americans today have experience with large government ideas. As we have found government isn't all that good at solving problems. Obama is the latest big government candidate.

I have John Stossel's new book on order on how government does a poor job of solving problems. I'm looking forward to reading it. Imagine in FDR's day, the opposite was thought, that government could.

"NO, THEY CAN'T! Airs This Sunday at 9pm and Midnight ET on Fox News"

snippet from his article:

NO, THEY CAN'T! Why Government Fails, but Individuals Succeed (also the title of my new book) airs again this Sunday on Fox News.
Politicians say "Yes, we can!" and claim they solve our problems.
When the mortgage market crashed, the President said their new law, Dodd-Frank, would create a "new financial system" so such things would never happen again.
After 9/11, Senator Tom Daschle declared "you can't professionalize if you don't federalize!" The Senate voted 100-0 to create the TSA to run airport security.
Politicians' promises are endless. They say they'll: create jobs, "make college affordable for all," protect the disabled, give disadvantaged kids a head start, and invest in "cutting edge innovation."
But they can't achieve what they promise.
•Billionaire Mark Cuban and other job-creators explain why government's rules now prevent the job creation that was once America's hallmark.
•Dodd-Frank, instead of stopping fraud, added layers to already incomprehensible banking laws. Stossel shows how simple rules in the Cayman Islands not only stop fraud, but they also create prosperity.
•While the TSA creates long lines, misses actual terrorists, and angers passengers, screeners working for a private company at one big airport work faster, more cheerfully, and find more contraband. We show how the private company does it.
•Did you know that the U of Missouri is proud to have a "leisure resort" on campus? Naomi Riley, author of The Faculty Lounges: And Other Reasons Why You Won't Get the College Education You Pay For, explains how government aid led to massive tuition hikes.
•Since the Americans with Disabilities Act took effect, fewer disabled people have been able to work.
•Lisa Snell from the Reason Foundation explains how the government's own research found that Head Start did not help poor kids. Government's response? Spend even more.
Government grows, despite its repeated failure....

Obama vs Romney?

Continuing the rule of banks and corporations over the people of the USA and the world.

They aren't even trying to hide the fact both these guys carry water for the same banksters and corporitos anymore.

I was discussing my opinion on the decline in the popularity of President Obama with my LT, who gave me some reasons as to why he thinks the President will win a second term. Being an officer in the Army, he did not tell me who he was voting for, only that he thought the President would win.

...

From my own observation, I don't think that the President is as despised by the general public as he is made out to be on this board. It is easy to hear a lot of people around you talking, and if the people around you are all saying the same thing, to assume that you are hearing the majority opinion. However, this is not always an accurate assessment. It seems that the average person isn't concerned with what has happened, but the promise of what will happen.

What say you?

There are others signs which are causing some DNC Panic/Heartburn e.g. Contents of Obama Book - eats dog, does hard core drugs, etc.

RE:General Public:
Polls are doing relatively poorly for Obama. He should have a definite lead being the incumbent. Romney has even had the lead on occassion.

Internal support: Many high level devotees are jumping/have jumped ship, being disregarded, etc.

Made up. Completely untrue.

You are uninformed. Google it.

One source, there are others:

2012 US Presidential election votes will be counted in Spain! Electronic voting machines, used in US elections, have repeatedly been shown by experts to be prone to fraud. "When the Spanish online voting company SCYTL bought the largest vote processing corporation in the United States, it also acquired the means of manufacturing the outcome of the 2012 election. For SOE, the Tampa based corporation purchased by SCYTL in January, supplies the election software which records, counts, and reports the votes of Americans in 26 states 900 total jurisdictions across the nation." 1 The fact that the same company will have first count on all votes made in 14 US states and hundreds of jurisdictions in 12 others, and the stage is set for election fraud on a scale unimaginable just a decade ago. SCYTL self-proclaimed the security of its systems, but when the machines were used in the District of Columbia, the University of Michigan fight song "The Victors" was suddenly heard after the casting of each ballot. The system had been hacked by U of M computer teachers and students, in order to demonstrate their susceptibilities. 2 Over the past decade, reports from MIT, Caltech, and Carnegie-Melon have repeatedly documented that voting machines, used in the US, are susceptible to fraud

You need more education on this matter. There are numerous sources.

There are numerous threads on these issues here on the Politics forum. You might get yourself up to speed by reading some of them and the source links.
