Insufficient Forces

The report notes that the United States now faces five rising challenges—China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, and transnational terrorism—yet has fewer military forces than at any time since the end of World War II. “Simply put,” it observes, “the United States needs a larger force than it has today if it is to meet the objectives of the strategy.”

Numerous defense experts, both inside and outside of government, have been telling us the same thing for years. Today, the navy says it needs 355 ships to execute the NDS; they have 286. The air force says it needs 386 squadrons; they have 312. And the army states it needs 500,000 active soldiers; it has only 476,000.

With five potential adversaries to account for, the report observes, a “two-war force sizing construct makes more strategic sense today that at any previous point in the post-Cold War era.” Yet the NDS used only a one-war force sizing construct with an additional undefined ability to “deter” another opponent. Essentially, that construct provides no capability to deter an opportunistic adversary who sees the U.S. engaged in one regional conflict. Moreover, it provides no ability to suffer combat losses or to maintain any forward presence in any area other than the conflict zone.

In sum, the NDS’ one-war force sizing construct understates the amount of forces the U.S. needs to prevail. The commission does not approve.

Haven't you heard? It's much more important to our armed forces that we engage in social experimentation than to be a ready, alert, and thoroughly trained battle force.

Ode to common sense.

This is why there are "alliances" - to multiply resource.

We still have a thermonuclear date - Communism versus Capitalism - coming soon to our planet.

China, who has resources in Latin Anerica, is a main problem. Mueller has prevented the USA from dealing seriously with Putin in the hope of isolating China. China recently stole a chip worth billions of dollars. The Chinese are sadistic rulers of Tibet. Left to their own devices, China would weaken.

Another equal threat is Islamic terror, written into Islamic "scripture" that is responsible for putting to death 270,000,000 people in the last 1400 years. Europe already has millions of these barbarians within their countries thanks to their own goofball leaders. But the USA also has millions of these perpetual enemies of liberty and freedom thanks to the Democrats. It is curious that both American Jews and Muslims are staunch Democrats. It is the old communist-Muslim alliance, huh?

The Alliance where the Netherlands gets us to pay for their conflicts. What a deal
WWIII alliances are forming right now.

If you watched any of the YouTube videos of the "Invasores" (as the Mexican citizenry have branded them) and their angry marxist chants and insulting communist slogans guess what side Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua are coming down on.

Soon they will be on our side of the border, maybe living on your street undocumented.
Oh you think you are safe living in Minnesota?

Yes we want immigrants to come on in, legally, lawfully, peacefully, vetted and documented.

Not chanting to overthrow the government, not hurling insults, not throwing rocks at our LEO's, not tearing down government barriers.
If they are brazen enough to do these things to government property and personnel what would they do to us?

Nicaragua is ruled by communist child molester Daniel Ortega. He is propped up by Raul Castro, who has KGB trained troops who fought recently in Syria along side of Russia.

Nicaragua therefore is a member of ALBA, in English the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America. It currently includes Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, and Nicaragua. With the deaths of Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez, ALBA lacks the charismatic leadership sought by international communism.

Guatamala and Honduras are very poor. Clinton/Obama tried to keep a leftist government in power. Currently, the Roman Catholic Church has a massive abuse scandal in Honduras.

All of Latin America is in trouble. They are poorer than Africa but they are not politically correct as Africa is.

A border wall with Mexico might slow the drug traffic from Latin America. Russia should not be allowed to reopen a military base in Cuba. China and Iran should be checked in Latin America. Latin leaders should be asked to allow Protestant missionaries. Mexico has a communist president now so anything goes. Perhaps Brazil will become an economic power house and help us.
