Does that mean from your interpretation that Lazarus is a type of Christ because
like Jonah he was in a dark place for three days?
That's the problem with 'types' where do you draw the line?

Christ raising Lazarus from the dead is a type (or allegory, or simile) of what He does for all of us:

Ephesians Chapter 2:5

even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have ye been saved),

Do you know why He called Lazarus by name to 'come forth' (Lazarus, come forth!)?

If He had just said 'come forth', the whole graveyard would have come alive!

Those standing by that rolled away the stone and removed the grave clothes represent the Church's duty in 'tending to the flock'.
