I love it when people feel the need to spout off about that which they know nothing about. Here’s my daily lesson……if someone is on your ignore list…..keep them there.

At first I thought you were referring to someone in the Rick band, Rush.
I forgot that Limbaugh was dead. Limbaugh was the right wing shock jock who mirrored Howard Stern on the left.

Rush and Stern are nothing alike - Rush was NOT a shock jock
Did I agree with him 100% of course not - but normally Rush was right

He was a shock jock. He was all about entertainment by painting others as "Them." His audience was less pagan and prided itself on a moral high ground, but his schtick was still shock jock. He was a tiresome radio host.

Did he use entertainment? Of course
But he also gave out a lot of valuable information.

Think what you like -
but some 20 + million people listen to his show each week
that would be a bit over 10% of all adults in the USA.

Travis and Sexton - the current hosts of the EIB network - are averaging about 10 million listeners per week..

Sean Hannity is # 1 at about 16 million per week.

I know he was popular. I know he polarized America. I know that many Christians spent more time with Rush than they spent with God. I know that many Christians started seeing their future through politics instead of through Christ alone.
Rush was a shock jock who shocked 20 million people into following politics over Christ.

I loved listening to Rush. I still miss him from time to time. He was always right on point on what the next step for the Commie and Anti-God Left was. I can remember in college a few years back going back to my dorm at noon to make myself a tuna sandwich and cranking up Rush's opening monologue. I never called into his show, but I did call into Levin's once.

Ultimately I hope he knew the Lord. I recall listening to one program where he mentioned how he didn't have much time left, and that he felt at peace with the Lord. I hope he knew Him.

Wow. I didn't know Rush bit the dust. When did that happen?
It’s been a couple of years. Stage 4 lung cancer.

I read somewhere his widow is a direct descendant of John Adams, if memory serves.

He loved radio and really revolutionized the talk radio format. I think his show was the first to go nationwide.

He was funny, at times crude, always informative and entertaining.

He had a lot of really good discernment about political issues in real time.

In a lot of ways, he was similar to Trump, especially in calling out media bias and pop culture craziness.

peace to you

Auto correct... rock band...Rush.
(only watch if "rock" music doesn't offend you)

Not offended. Just don't care for it. I write my own music, and put it on my computer to play back, and make mp3's so I can listen in my car.
