She may have thoughts about a run. But, I think she'll pull a Teddy K and decide early in the primaries not to run. After all what's four or eight more years in the White House, when you're Senator for life from the state of New York.

One word: Power </font>[/QUOTE]A U.S. Senator has quite a bit of power and very little downside. The senior senator from the Commonwealth of Massachusettes would have been out of "power" for twenty years if he had been elected president. I don't think JFK's little brother would have been the former POTUS the man from Plains has been. Not that I'm a fan of the former Governor of Georgia, but the man has carried hiself with a quiet dignity.

She will run
She will win (see below)

The only good thing is that sitting senators have a rotten track record when running for POTUS: Warren Harding and JFK are the only ones to pull it off.

She was here in Miami last week fundraising (for her NY senate campaign - yeah, right). She'll start the race a little bit ahead of the others with a $50 million jumpstart -- $$ left over from her senate race.

However, a recent article in the Herald (not a conservative paper) stated that her negatives may be too big to overcome. A lot of party heavyweights are afraid that a Hillary candidacy will bring certain defeat. See attached article: http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/nation/13977965.htm

My Uncle is really into politics and usually runs a local campaign every election year. He believes if John Mccain wins the GOP bid he defeats Hillary easily. Because he doesn't feel that many americans especially the swing voters want a female president.

There is actually a bi-partisan bumper sticker out there for her: "Run Hillary Run."

This is one time I sure hope you are wrong Roger. I don't think it is going to happen.
