I believe Dan. 9. Gabriel prophesies 70 sevens (further to the 70 years exile in Babylon) that detail the saving work of Messiah, and after 69 weeks, the baptismal anointing of the LORD Jesus Christ. Jesus finishes his saving work, ending sacrifice & offering in the middle of the 70th week. The 70 weeks (490 years) ended around AD 37.

He confirms the covenant, actually by making the New Covenant in his own blood, during that 70th week during the 3 1/2 years of his ministry & the 3 1/2 years of the Apostolic Gospel preaching. The 70th week ended with the martyrdom of Stephen when his accusers were declared "Uncircumcised." The Old Covenant explicitly ended. All that remained was for the destruction of city & sanctuary which took place as prophesised in AD 70 before "this generation" had passed.

24 “Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.
25 “Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. 26 After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing. I am aware that precise translation & is difficult, but there is no scope for a 2,000 year gap in the 70 weeks. The details can be readily understood according to Jesus' Olivet prophecy.

No, I totally disagree. It says that Messiah would be cut off. So things are on hold. I am using KJV:

You can see that transgression is not finished, sin is not ended, everlasting righteousness has not been brought in, etc. Messiah was cut off. There has never been 3 1/2 years of peace and safety in the history of the world and there is nothing like that now.

What will be the scenarios in Jerusalem when the outer COURT of the temple be trodden by the Gentiles?

The third scenario in Jerusalem, the holy city, will be of human upheaval, the environment in the holy city will be of extreme convulsion, multitudes of people and kindreds and tongues and nations will travel to Jerusalem, a strong touristic movements from all nations, mainly religious tourism from all religions and evangelical churches of all denominations and sects will travel to Jerusalem, multitudes will be circling in holy city. Even the Pope will meet the false messiah in the midst of a great human mass of religious people, a strong religious movements towards Jerusalem.

The religious environment in Jerusalem-Israel-will be favorable greatly to the two Beasts to establish a religious and satanic Universal Empire, the Antichrist's Empire.

In this first moment of the third scenario, there are important things to be focused:

- One of the most important things to be focused is that the religious structures of Beast of sea, in this first moment, WORKS ONLY WITH HIS 7 HEADS, yeah, only and only with his 7 heads. The Roman emperors have been forgotten by name and most of them were just military generals who went sent on missions throughout the empire seemed to lose influence back home at Rome until they returned with an army.

The verse says "...and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease..." The sacrifices would refer to the Jewish spilling of animal blood in payment of sins and the oblation means taking up an offering. Those are the services that will be interrupted--animal sacrifice and taking up a collection.

Preterism has a problem because when the Romans destroyed Israel and took the Jews into slavery and dispersed them to Rome and from there all over the world, there is no return of Jesus at that time or at any other time. Furthermore, the Romans did not ceremonially desecrate the altar but just looted the temple and set it afire and then removed the rubble. There was not 3 1/2 years of peace and safety for the Israelis or anyone else in Roman times and there was no effort by the Romans, a nazi empire, to make everyone take the mark of the beast. The Roman emperors have been forgotten by name and most of them were just military generals who went sent on missions throughout the empire seemed to lose influence back home at Rome until they returned with an army.

Paul states also that the man of Sin, Antichrist, shall be destroyed by Jesus at His second coming, so there has been no final Antichrist and for sure no second coming yet! pretierist version is fairy tale and fable!

Well, Scripture is the perfect Word of God so if Scripture says that thee well be money donated and sacrifices performed, then Scripture is accurate because God's Word Is perfect.
