Will the World End on August 22?

    It should happen sometime after 5pm today. It will be the 22nd in Iran. That means the rapture will happen at any minute. "Up, up and awaayaay, in my brand new flying suit!"

    So if the world does end, an appropriate question would be "What do you want on your Tombstone?" Of course, I would say mushrooms, pepperoni, and sausage.

    But the day is not yet out...

    With all the excitement from this thread and WND, both reputable news sources, I'd almost be disappointed if the day passed off without any event...

    It's not even raining here in NI and it always rains here...

    Well, as of 10:08 EDT, at least, over half the world has made it through half Aug.22 or more, and since I'm still typin' :type:, I'm here at least, so far.

    What we were never told was which calander they were using.

    Then again the theory could have been thrown off by a leap year?

    What about the day time stood still, could the sand still be stuck in the hour glass?

    Lastly I'd blame Bush. This is probably one of his faithless initiatives to disrupt the peaceful workings of celestrial bodies determined to do the will of him that sent them...

    Or, DEBKAfile could have been wrong???
