Macy Day Parade

[JonC]

Not sure. I have never liked parades. But usually end up watching part of it anyway.

Macy Day Parade

I watched a little of it. Bunch of creeps IMO.

??? I wasn't anywhere near the place.

What i saw. 2 men dancing together in a romantic way. Close enough. I was out

[Salty]

I watched it for a few minutes - just not what the parade was some 50 years ago.

[Ascetic X]

No. When I foolishly watched tv, I never cared about parades. But I canceled my cable television service, then gave my tv set to a friend. Part of my ascetic discipline to remove all worldliness from my life. I don’t miss it, as there is nothing on tv or in this world that interests me.

[Tea]

Not my cup of tea.

Yea....it's in color.

[Salty]

How about 2026?

[Salty]

Wow = the Macys day parade is just 28 days away - (on 26 Nov) will be number 100!!!

History of Cancellations

The parade has a unique history regarding its cancellations.

• World War II Cancellations — The parade was canceled from 1942 to 1944 due to the war effort, marking the only years it was not held since its inception in 1924.
• 100th Anniversary — The 100th parade is scheduled for 2026, as the original was in 1924, with the previous cancellations affecting its historical timeline.

So who will watch the parade in 2026???????

I have watched it on the net - and you dont see all those crazy l acts!
