I think it is fine to schedule a full reading of the word. However, I believe it is also important that this reading is not the only time spent daily with the Lord. Give at least the same amount of time to the Lord everyday and let HIM script what is to take place. Let Jesus decide what he wants you to read that day. Let HIM be in control of the meeting!
